Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de serrage d'un joint spécial possédant une surface d'étanchéité métallique sans vis et une partie d'épaulement sans vis, ledit procédé consistant à fixer le rapport entre un couple d'épaulement au moment du contact d'impact sur la partie d'épaulement et un couple de serrage au moment de l'achèvement du serrage entre 1,25 et 20, et, si possible, à établir le rapport entre 1,4 et 10. Une étanchéité à l'air suffisante peut être assurée sans être affectée par le type et les conditions d'utilisation du joint de tuyaux. Une déformation élastique due à un serrage excessif peut être évitée et, même dans l'environnement sévère d'un puits de pétrole, le joint de tuyaux peut être largement utilisé en tant que joint spécial de serrage pour un tuyau de puits de pétrole.
