Abstract

Un composant biomédical comporte une céramique comprenant de l'alumine renforcée à la zircone, la céramique comprenant 1 à 69 % en poids de zircone, la zircone étant partiellement stabilisée avec au moins 2,1 % en mole d'oxyde d'yttrium, et le composant ayant une surface dans laquelle la fraction de zircone de la céramique présente une teneur en phase monoclinique inférieure à 10 %.
