Abstract

L'invention concerne un matériau céramique à base de ZrO2, composé de grains de ZrO2, lesquels contiennent du CeC2 faisant office de stabilisateur et présentent une grosseur de grain moyenne égale ou inférieure à environ 1 νm, au moins 95 % des grains de ZrO2 comprennent une phase tétragonale. Le matériau céramique contient au moins 15 % en poids d'oxyde de cérium et de 0,1 % à 0,4 % en poids d'oxyde de manganèse.
