Description
Stoff-FigurFabric figure
Beschreibungdescription
The invention relates to a fabric figure with a cushion body and with several cushion elements connected to the cushion body by flexible members.
There are fabric figures of this type known as soft toys or rag dolls, in which the limbs forming the limbs are designed as cords or ropes, which engage with one end in the upholstered body and at the other ends are designed as heads, hands or legs Wear upholstery. The limbs of these fabric figures are limp. So they are not permanently bendable.
Proceeding from this, the object of the invention is to improve the known fabric figures of the type specified at the outset in such a way that their limbs can be exposed to an alternating plastic bending stress.
To achieve this object, the combination of features specified in claim 1 is proposed. Advantageous refinements and developments of the invention result from the dependent claims.
The solution according to the invention is based on the knowledge that if a wire core made of elastically or plastically bendable metal wire is used after multiple bending, a wire break can occur, due to which there is a risk of injury at the exposed break points. In order to avoid this risk of injury, it is proposed according to the invention that the flexible members have a central flexible wire core, a protective sheath made of tough material which closely surrounds the wire core and have a flexible hose sleeve loosely surrounding the protective jacket. These measures ensure that the wire core of the links can be plastically bent, for example, and that there is no risk of injury in the event of a broken wire. The wire core of the links advantageously consists of a copper wire, while the protective sheath consists of a thermoplastic. A circular knitted fabric can be used as the tubular casing, which is knitted around the coated wire during manufacture.
In order to further reduce the risk of injury, the limbs are overlapped at their free, preferably bent ends by a piece of fabric sewn with the tubular casing and engage with the free ends in one of the cushion elements or in the cushion body. There they are appropriately anchored in the cushion element or in the cushion body, preferably sewn to them.
A further advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that at least some of the links are connected to one another in pairs, each carry one of the cushion elements at their free ends and is guided through the cushion body in its central region and sewn to it. Furthermore, at least one of the links can engage with one end in the upholstery body and with its other end in one of the upholstery elements and can be sewn to them.
The invention further relates to a flexible wire material, in particular for the production of limbs of fabric figures designed as stuffed animals or rag dolls. In order to avoid the risk of injury in the event of a broken wire, the wire material according to the invention consists of a central flexible wire core, a protective jacket made of tough material that closely encloses the wire core and a tubular sleeve loosely surrounding the protective jacket. The wire core is advantageously as made of plastically bendable metal wire, preferably copper, while the protective sheath suitably consists of a thermoplastic. The tubular casing of the wire element is advantageously designed as a circular knitted fabric.
Es zeigenThe invention is explained in more detail below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawing. Show it
