Definitions

  • This invention relates to an indoor soundproof panel for damping the sound by reflecting the sound irregularly and simultaneously absorbing the sound, which is to be fixed to the interior wall in a performance hall, an amusement room and the like.
  • the soundproof panel (8) disclosed in the said publication comprises a foaming concrete having innumerable chain pores formed in uniform distribution as a sound absorbing panel (1), a sound insulating panel (2) manufactured by mixing inorganic porous aggregate, which has independent pores bulged by heating shale at 1,200 ° C, emery and shot steel with cement mortar, a tangled fiber sound absorbing sheet (5) and an aluminium case (7) having a plural number of sound absorbing holes (6) formed therein, wherein the said sound absorbing panel (1) is collectively combined with the sound insulating panel (2) by means of a spacer (3) with a small gap (4) formed between them, the tangled fiber sound absorbing sheet (5) is applied to the front face of the sound absorbing panel (1), and the front face of the sound absorbing panel (1) is covered with the said aluminium case (7), and thereby, only the
  • the said conventional soundproof panel (8) is installed between two posts not shown in FIG. 1 with its height kept to be constant so that the sound absorbing holes may face any noise source, wherein various noise from cars running on the road, etc. gets to come in through the sound absorbing holes (6) of the aluminium case (7), and then such noise gets to be damped primarily by means of the fiber sound absorbing sheet (5). Subsequently, as such damped sound goes into innumerable chain pores of the sound absorbing panel, the noise energy gets to be converted into the heat energy by means of the intense air friction resistance resulting from numberless resonance frequency, and thereby the noise gets to be attenuated according to the resonance sound attenuation theory.
  • some remaining noise energy gets to be more attenuated by the air layer of the gap (4) between the sound absorbing panel (1) and the sound insulating panel (2), and then it gets to be reflected by the sound insulating panel (2). Thereby, it gets to disappear entirely through the repetitive resonance sound attenuation action in the gap (4) and the sound absorbing panel (1) and accordingly, the soundproofing can be attained.
  • the said soundproof panel is installed between the two posts built longitudinally on both sides of the road to absorb the noise from cars and it can protect the surface of the sound absorbing panel safely by means of the aluminium case containing the fiber sound absorbing sheet even if any gravel bouncing from the road during rurining of cars gets to be bumped against the soundproof panel.
  • the said conventional soundproof panel has problems that not only a great cost is required for installation thereof because it has to be installed between two posts but also it cannot be used as an indoor soundproof panel because it is too heavy. Disclosure of Invention

  • FIG. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view illustrating a conventional soundproof panel schematically
  • FIG. 2 is a front view of the indoor soundproof panel, an embodiment according to this Invention
  • FIG 3 is a longitudinal sectional view taken along the arrow line III-III in FIG. 2;
  • FIG 4 is a longitudinal sectional view taken along the arrow line III-III in another embodiment according to this Invention.

  • FIG 3 is a longitudinal sectional view taken along the arrow line III-III in FIG. 2
  • FIG 4 is a longitudinal sectional view taken along the arrow line III-III in another embodiment according to this Invention.
  • the indoor soundproof panel (100) comprises a metal plate (110) having a plural number of through holes (110a) formed at given intervals bilaterally and vertically therein, a sound absorbing material (116), two bonding agent layers (112) (114) and a tape layer (120), wherein a plural number of protuberances (116a) to be bonded with the reverse side of the said metal plate (110) by means of the bonding agent (112) interposed between them is formed in the said sound absorbing material, a plural number of resonance spaces (117) for damping noise and absorbing sound are formed between the said protuberances in the said sound absorbing material and the tape layer is provided on the bonding agent layer posed on the reverse side of the said sound absorbing material.
  • the shape of the through hole (110a) formed in the said metal plate (110) may be of a circle, an oval or a tetragon when the facade of the soundproof panel (100) is viewed, and the through hole functions as a hole for inducing any noise to come into the resonance space.
  • the upper bending part (110b) and the lower bending part (110c) for forming the circumference of the through hole are formed so that they may be of vertical symmetry without being overlapped and so that when they are viewed from the front thereof, the through hole may be viewed in the shape of a circle or an oval, and the two bending parts are curved.

  • FIG. 4 Another embodiment according to this Invention as illustrated in FIG. 4 is the same as the embodiment as illustrated in FIG. 3, only except the point that the upper and the lower bending parts are of a straight form, not a curved form.
  • the tape layer (120) provided on the bonding agent layer posed on the reverse side of the said sound absorbing material is removed, and then the soundproof panel according to this Invention is fixed to the surface of a wall by using the bonding agent layer (114) as exposed just after removal of the tape layer.
  • any indoor noise gets to be primarily reflected irregularly in the concavo-convex surface of the said metal plate (110) so that it gets to disappear through cross interference, and at the same time, some of the said noise, which comes into the resonance space (117) formed in the sound absorbing material through the said through holes (110a), gets to be dispersed bilaterally from the peak (116b) of the sound absorbing material (116) in the resonance space (117) and further repetitively reflected therein so that it gets to be damped by and absorbed into the sound absorbing material (116) comprising sponge, styropol or foam resin in the process of such repetitive reflection.
  • the indoor soundproof panel according to this Invention can be primarily fixed to any wanted position in the wall face by using the bonding agent layer (114) exposed just after removal of the tape layer (120) provided on the reverse side thereof and then it can be more firmly fixed to the wall face with ease by driving a screw into the wall from the surface of the metal plate (110), the front side of the soundproof panel, it is very easy to install the indoor soundproof panel.
  • it since it comprises the metal plate (110), the sound absorbing material (116), the bonding agent layer (114) and the tape layer (120), it is simple and light in the structure and weight thereof. It can be, therefore, handled with ease.
  • any indoor noise gets to be primarily damped through irregular reflection thereof by means of the surface of the metal plate and the concavo- convex surfaces formed by a plural number of through holes, and at the same time, some of the noise passing through the through hole gets to be damped by and absorbed into the sound absorbing material in the process of repetitive reflection thereof in the resonance space enclosed by the sound absorbing material. Therefore, the indoor soundproof panel according to this Invention has an excellent effect on any indoor soundproofing. Further, it is simple and light in the structure and weight thereof. It can be, therefore, installed and handled with much ease.
