Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung richtet sich auf Verfahren zur Herstellung von Polymerisaten und Copolymerisaten α-substituierter Acrylverbindungen in Gegenwart einer katalytisch wirksamer Struktur, erhältlich in situ aus einem organometallischen Seltenerdmetall (III)-Komplex der allgemeinen Formel (II) Cp2LnR6, worin Cp eine unsubstituierte oder substituierte Cyclopentadienylgruppe bezeichnet, Ln ein Seltenerdmetall in der Oxidationsstufe +3 darstellt, und R6 im einen zur Ausbildung agotischer Wechselwirkungen befähigten Amid- oder Aluminat- Liganden bedeutet, wobei der Amidligand ein Si-Atom aufweist, in einem aprotischen Lösungsmittel eventuell unter Zusatz einer Lewis-Säure und Ausbildung eines Aluminat-Komplexes, für die katalytisch wirksame Verbindung bei Temperaturen im Bereich zwischen -100 °C und dem Siedepunkt des Lösungsmittels polymerisiert und das erhaltene Polymerisat oder Copolymerisat auf geeignete Weise isoliert oder in Lösung weiterverarbeitet. Beansprucht werden auch die erhaltenen Polymerisate und Copolymerisate, die eine hohe Syndiotaktizität aufweisen.
