Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Haarformgerät (1), insbesondere Dampffrisierstab, der eine rohrförmige, die Haare behandelnde und mit Durchlässen (2) versehene Trommel (3) aufweist, in der eine Heizeinrichtung (12) und eine Zumesseinrichtung (26) ausgebildet sind. Beim Betätigen der Zumesseinrichtung (26) tritt Flüssigkeit aus einem Auslass (18) eines Flüssigkeitsbehälters (19) über einen Docht (17) aus. Eine von der Heizeinrichtung (12) mit Wärme versorgte Verdampfungseinrichtung (13) verdampft die Flüssigkeit zu Dampf, der dann an den an der Trommel (3) ausgebildeten Durchlässen (2) ausströmt. Nach der Erfindung sind Mittel (60, 19) vorgesehen, die infolge der Betätigung der Zumesseinrichtung (26) etwa in der Verdampferkammer (14) vorhandene überschüssige Flüssigkeit jeweils vor einer nächsten Betätigung der Zumesseinrichtung (26) wieder aus der Verdampferkammer (14) entfernen und in den Flüssigkeitsbehälter (19) zurückbringen. Durch diese Anordnung wird nur so viel Flüssigkeit verdampft, wie dies von einer Bedienungsperson gewünscht wird. Weiterhin kann auch keine Flüssigkeit in die Heizeinrichtung (12) eindringen, durch das ein in Gang setzen des Katalysators (8) erschwert bzw. gar nicht mehr möglich wäre.
