Definitions
- the invention relates to a foam cleaning product for personal care, consisting of an aqueous cleaning agent and a propellant-free foam dispensing container, which is characterized by particular skin friendliness and a particularly creamy consistency of the foam.
- a particularly interesting class of skin-friendly anionic surfactants is that of sulfosuccinates. These surfactants are rarely used for liquid personal cleansing agents because they are difficult to thicken in dilute aqueous solution. Combination with betaine surfactants achieves somewhat higher viscosities, but this no longer applies when using the particularly low-irritation C 8 -C ⁇ o-acylamidobetaines. It has now been found that sulfosuccinate surfactants and their combination with surface-active ampho- or betaine surfactants are outstandingly suitable for the production of foam cleaning products which are used as cleaning foam from propellant-free dispensing containers with a foam valve (so-called airfoamers).
- the foam produced from such foam dispensers when applied even with water-thin preparations is particularly fine-bubble and creamy and is therefore ideal for distribution on the skin and for gentle, low-irritation cleaning.
- Sulfosuccinates are used as surfactants for skin cleansers e.g. B. from WO 84/03622 AI known.
- Cleaning foams based on a mixture of anionic and amphoteric surfactants are known from WO 99/39689 A2.
- WO 93/00089 AI also describes body cleansing foams which are used from propellant-free dispensing containers with a foam valve.
- the invention therefore relates to a foam cleaning product for personal hygiene, consisting of an aqueous cleaning agent and a propellant-free dispensing container with a foam valve, the cleaning agent at least
- Suitable dispensing containers with foam nozzles are known, e.g. B. from US 3,709,437; US 3,937,364; US 5,635,469 or WO 94/09345 AI.
- the cleaning liquid is conveyed to the foam valve either by pressure on the flexible container wall (squeeze bottle) or by a manually operated pump.
- the liquid is then mixed with air in the foam valve and discharged as foam.
- the surface-active sulfosuccinic acid monoester salts are the salts of sulfosuccinic acid monoesters of fatty alcohols or fatty alcohol polyglycol ethers of the general formula
- Particularly preferred sulfosuccinic acid monoester salts correspond to the formula
- R is an alkyl group with 12-16 C atoms and n has an average value of 1-6.
- Ampholytic surfactants are surface-active compounds which, in addition to a C 8 -alkyl or acyl group, contain at least one free amino group and at least one -COOH or -SO 3 H group in the molecule and are capable of forming internal salts.
- suitable ampholytic surfactants are N-alkylglycines, N-alkylaminopropionic acids, N-alkylaminobutyric acids,
- N-alkyliminodipropionic acids H-hydroxyethyl-N-alkylamidopropylglycine, N-
- Particularly preferred ampholytic surfactants are the N-cocoalkylaminopropionate and the cocoacylaminoethylaminopropionate.
- Zwitterionic surfactants are those surface-active compounds that have at least one quaternary ammonium group and at least one -COO - or -SO 3 (_) group in the molecule.
- Particularly suitable zwitterionic surfactants are the so-called betaines such as the N-alkyl-N, N-dimethylammonium glycinate, for example coconut alkyldimethylammonium glycinate, N-acylaminopropyl-N, N-dimethylammonium glycinate, for example coconut acylaminopropyl dimethylammonium glycinate, and 2-alkyl-3 -carboxymethyl-3-hydroxyethyl-imidazolines each having 8 to 18 carbon atoms in the alkyl or acyl group and the cocoacylaminoethylethyloxycarboxymethylglycinate.
- a preferred zwitterionic surfactant is the fatty acid amide derivative known under the CTFA name Cocamidopropyl Betaine.
- Particularly suitable for the purposes of the present invention are those ampho- and betaine surfactants which have an alkyl or acyl group with 8-10 C atoms, in particular the betaine surfactant of the formula (II)
- Such a surfactant is commercially available as a skin and mucous membrane-friendly and low-irritation beta surfactant with the name Tego Betain 810 (Goldschmidt).
- the foam cleaning agents according to the invention can also contain nonionic surfactants.
- Suitable nonionic surfactants are, for example, the alkyl (oligo) glucosides, which are obtainable by reacting alcohols with 8-16 carbon atoms with, for example, butylglucoside by transacetalization or by direct acetalization from glucose and fatty alcohol and of the formula RO- (Z) x correspond in which R is a C 8 -C 6 alkyl group and Z is a monosaccharide residue, in particular a glucose residue, and x is its average degree of oligomerization, a number from 1-5, preferably from 1-2.
- Other suitable nonionic surfactants are, for example,
- - Amine oxide surfactants for example alkylamine oxides with 12-18 C atoms and acylamido propyl dimethylamine oxide with 12-18 C atoms in the acyl group.
- non-water-soluble surfactants but which are solubilized in the presence of water-soluble surfactants and then contribute to improving the feeling on the skin and to the fine bubbles and creaminess of the foam, can be present in the hair cleansing agents according to the invention in amounts of up to 5% by weight.
- Such products are, for example
- Fatty acid partial glycerides (monoglycerides and mono- / diglyceride mixtures) and sorbitan mono- and difatty acid esters
- the foam cleaning product according to the invention contains a cleaning agent which additionally
- a product which is commercially available under the name Lamesoft PO 65 (Cognis Germany) and which contains a combination of an alkyl (oligo) glucoside and a glycerol monooleate with more than 95% monoester content is particularly suitable as a moisturizing and moisturizing component.
- the skin cleanser according to the invention can contain up to 10% by weight of further anionic surfactants.
- foam-rich and skin-friendly surfactants are particularly preferred.
- Suitable anionic surfactants such.
- the detergent composition is low viscosity and can be easily transported to the foam valve by the pump mechanism of the dispensing container.
- the viscosity of the cleaning agent is therefore preferably in a range below 500 m • Pa s (20 ° C.), preferably below 200 m • Pa s (20 ° C.), measured with a Brookfield rotary viscometer (type RTV, spindle 2 at 20 rpm).
- the viscosity can be reduced by a content of glycols or polyols. These products also have a skin-moisturizing and sensory beneficial effect.
- the liquid cleaning agent therefore contains 0.5 to 5% by weight of a water-soluble glycol or polyol with 2-6 C atoms, or a polyalkylene glycol.
- Suitable glycols are e.g. B. ethylene glycol, 1, 2-propylene glycol, pentandol-1,4 or hexanediol-1,6.
- Suitable polyols are e.g. B. glycerin, erythritol, sorbitol.
- Suitable water-soluble polyalkylene glycols are e.g. B. the polyethylene glycols with molecular weights up to about 800 and the water-soluble ethylene oxide / propylene oxide copolymers with a proportion of more than 50% by weight of ethylene glycol ether groups.
- the foam cleaning product according to the invention contains an aqueous cleaning agent which contains 8-12% by weight of a sulfosuccinate of the formula:
