Abstract

Es wird eine Beleuchtungsvorrichtung für einen reflexiv betriebenen flachen Bildschirm vorgeschlagen, die einen über die Oberfläche des Bildschirms (24) sich erstreckenden flächigen Lichtleiter (22) zur Anordnung auf der Sichtseite des Bildschirms (24) umfasst, der eine Mikroprismen- bzw. mikroprismenähnliche Struktur (21) aufweist, und an welchem wenigstens im Bereich einer Seitenkante Licht einkoppelbar ist. Erfindungsgemäß ist die Mikroprismen- bzw. mikroprismenähnliche Oberflächenstruktur auf der Seite des Lichtleiters (22) angebracht, die im am Bildschirm (24) angeordneten Zustand des Lichtleiters (22) zur Bildschirmoberfläche weist.
