Abstract

The invention is a new type of rice seedling board with color chaff. In detail, the ground rice hull, waste paper, flour (starch), dyeing agent, fertilizer (nitrogen, phosphate, cyanide), agrochemicals (germicide, insecticide), acidity controlling agent and surface active agent are mixed together at a specified rate. The mixed composition is molded by specified compress into a rectangular plate and dried at a specific temperature.

Description

[A seed-rice rising board filled with color chaff]
[Technological Field and Traditional Technology of Invention]
This invention is a new type of rice seedling board with color chaff on the top. In detail, a composition mixed with waste paper, flour (starch), fertilizer (nitrogen, phosphate, cyanide), agricultural germicide/ insecticide, acidity controlling agent, dyeing agent and surface-active agent is put into the pulverized rice hull. The composition is compressed and molded under a specific pressure and then dried under a specific temperature; the upper and lower boards of table soil are inserted into a rice seedling box to be used as the rice seedling board filled with color chaff. It is light and can replace natural soil like heavy ocher which weighs more than 6000g. It can also be mass-produced in a factory and make sowing easier and rice seedling more effective. There are two types of color chaff rice seedling board: one has rice seeds within, the other doesn't. Traditional table soil for rice seedling were made through the following procedure: soil is collected from the mountain or field and screened with a grate; it is spreaded evenly on the rice seedling box and rice seeds are sowed and watered after covering it with soil again.
However, the soil described above has many problems in respect of labor, time and cost. Other problems are: as the rice takes roots, the rice seedling box is sticked into the rice seedbed; rice seeds can not spread on the box evenly; sufficient oxygen cannot be provided during the period of germination and growth after sowing; control of acidity (PH), agrochemicals and providing proper nutrition is difficult. Rice seedbed weighs over 6000g and therefore it is very inconvenient to move or handle during sowing or planting. [Detailed Description of Invention] [Structure of Invention]
The rice seedling board with color chaffed top is made in the same size as traditional rice seedling box and molded with synthetic resins, whose table soil 5 board consists of upper table soil board (1) and lower table soil board (2). The upper table soil board (1) is made using the following procedures: the pulverized rice hull is mixed together with waste paper, flour (starch), fertilizer (nitrogen, phosphate, cyanide), agrochemicals (germicide, insecticide), acidity controlling agent, dyeing agent, and surface active agent. The above
10 composition is stirred with water, compressed to be molded in rectangular shape, and then dried. The upper table soil board is 2800mm in width, 5800mm in length and 5mm in thickness having a lot of tiny air holes at the top and bottom. The lower table soil board (2) is 2800mm in width, 5800mm in length and 20mm in thickness, having sowing grooves (201) of 5mm in depth
15 and 12mm in width separated regularly by partitions (202).
At the bottom of the sowing groove are many tiny air holes (203) and a stick-preventing humic plate is prepared at the bottom of the lower board of the table soil. Rice seeds are pre-sowed in the sowing grooves (201) in a factory in large quantities according to the specified sowing standard and then
20 inserted into the rice seedling box to germinate, or the color table soil board (A) can also be sowed directly using the hands and inserted into the box.
The mixing method of table soil composition is as follows: lOOOg of pulverized rice hull is mixed with 200g of waste paper, 50g of flour (starch), 50g of agrochemicals (germicide, insecticide), 20g of acidity controlling agent,
25 100g of fertilizer (nitrogen, phosphate, cyanide), 20g of dyeing agent and lOg of surface active agent, in the rate of 10:2:0.5:0.5:0.2:1:0.2:0.1. The above composition is molded by a compressing molder and dried at a specific temperature. Finally it becomes a color chaff table soil board for rice seedling. [E fectiveness of the Invention]
With this invention a farmer can sow rice seeds in the sowing grooves (201) of the seedling board using the hands and insert it into the seedling box (4), or, in order to eliminate the difficulty of hand sowing, the rice seeds are pre-sowed in the sowing grooves (201) at a factory according to the specific standard, and then, the color table soil seedling board with built-in seeds is inserted into the seedling box (4). Appropriate amounts of water is sprinkled. Fertilizers are put on the seedbed and water comes out through the bottom holes (401) of the seedling box (4); the stick-preventive humic plate (204) absorbed at the bottom (205) of the lower board (2) makes it easier to separate the seedling box and the rice seedbed; the fertilizer in the upper and lower table soil boards can be easily dissolved with sufficient oxygen and water coming through the tiny holes and supplied to the rice seeds.
This invention controls acidity (PH4-6) as well as sterilization and insect-killing necessary for sound seedling, which provides a better quality for table soil seedling board with color chaff compared with traditional natural table soil. When the rice seedling is completed for rice planting, the seedling box (4) is separated from the rice seedbed and the color table board (A) is loaded into the rice planting machine to be finally planted in the rice field. With this method, farmers do not have to use heavy inconvenient natural soil for table soil. This artificial composition is about 1/10 lighter than natural soil and easy to move, sow and plant with its rectangular shape. It is highly nutritive, easy to control acidity and keeps for long time due to its sterilizing and insecticidal function. The table soil seedling board (A) has diverse colors making it easy to separate rice seedbeds during sowing and planting. Tiny holes (101) (203) help the supply of sufficient oxygen necessary for germination and rooting. This light seedling board with color chaff can be produced in factory in large amount with various functions. [Technological Purpose of the Invention]
In order to solve the problems mentioned above, the composition of this 20 invention is artificially made with light chaff instead of heavy natural soil for the table soil, whose rectangular shape makes it easy to handle and move the board.

The steps on how the composition is formed: pulverized rice hull, waste paper, flour (starch), dyeing agent, fertilizer (nitrogen, phosphate, cyanide), agrochemicals (germicide, insecticide), acidity (PH4-6) controlling agent and surface active agent are mixed together at the proportion 10:2:0.5:0.5:0.2:1:0.2:0.1.
The composition having proper moisture is compressed at a specific pressure to become a rectangular plate and dried at a specific temperature and inserted into the rice seedling box (4). The upper table soil board (1) and lower table soil board (2) are formed: they have sterilizing and insecticidal functions. It is also serves as a perfect mat because of the fast germination and rooting of the seeds. The tiny air holes supply sufficient oxygen to the upper table soil board (1).
The stick-preventing humic plate that separates the seedling box (seedbed, 4) and the seedbed surface is absorbed at the bottom of the lower table soil board (2) having many tiny air holes (101) for easy absorption of nutrients and water.
The sowing grooves (201) are made with the air-ventilating partitions (202) on the lower board. The rice seeds are pre-sowed at the seedling grooves (201) en masse to the sowing standard.
The upper table soil board (1) is laid on the lower table soil board (2) and inserted into the rice seedling box (4), which can be also sowed in the sowing grooves (201) directly with hands. Therefore, the whole method of manufacturing rice seedling table soil board with color rice hull (A) is the range of application.
