Definitions

  • the invention relates to a ring nut with a foot part having a connection eyelet for hanging a stop or lashing means and with a threaded hole for its attachment to an object for a threaded pin.
  • Ring nuts of the above type are known from DIN 582. They are mass-produced articles which, unlike eyebolts in accordance with DIN 580, are used when there are no connection threaded holes on the objects to be transported, but only thread-free through holes are available.
  • the disadvantage of known ring nuts is that they do not automatically adjust to the pulling direction of lifting or lashing means without the risk of loosening or overtightening under load, as is the case with specially designed eye bolts according to EP 0 161 652 A2 and EP 0 654 611 Bl, the case is composed of at least two parts, one of which also forms a terminal lug and a threaded bolt, by which the connecting eye can execute rotary movements.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a ring nut of the type under consideration, the production of which is associated with only minimally increased effort compared to the production of ring nuts according to DIN 582 and whose connecting eye can adjust easily to the direction of the force introduced into it.
  • This object is achieved in that the threaded bore is formed by the bore of a rotatably and captively mounted sleeve in a recess of the foot part, one end of which projects slightly above the underside of the foot part of the connecting eye in the assembled state.

  • Such an elastic spring ring 23 creates the prerequisites for preventing the screwing tool from slipping off the head 14 of the sleeve 5 when working overhead with the use of a screwing tool 25 connected to the connecting eye 2 with an annular collar 26 overlapping the head 14 of the sleeve 5.
  • the spring ring 24 fulfills a double function in that it secures the sleeve 5 on the one hand and the screwing tool 25 on the other hand in its or its position.
