Abstract

L'invention porte sur la fabrication de la fonte, et notamment sur la technologie de moulage par centrifugation d'ébauches en vue de produire des cylindres utilisés dans des machines de moulage en continu d'ébauches. Le procédé consiste à couler un métal fondu appartenant à la classe martensite-ferrite dans une lingotière rotative. Avant l'introduction et la coulée dans la lingotière d'une poudre de fer, des additifs modificateurs en poudre sont introduits dans le métal fondu jusqu'à obtention d'une couche externe de l'ébauche. Selon cette invention, après la formation de la couche externe de l'ébauche, l'introduction dans le métal fondu des additifs modificateurs en poudre se poursuit, leur consommation diminuant régulièrement pour atteindre zéro. Simultanément, la poudre de fer est introduite dans le métal fondu avec une augmentation de sa consommation allant de zéro à 1,5 % et jusqu'à 3,0 % par rapport à la qualité du métal par seconde jusqu'à formation d'une couche intermédiaire d'une épaisseur comprise entre 2 et 4 mm d'un mélange d'additifs modificateurs en poudre et de poudre de fer, cette dernière étant introduite jusqu'à ce que s'achève la coulée du métal dans la lingotière.
