Abstract

L'invention concerne l'utilisation d'acides aminés basiques dans des produits de traitement capillaire aqueux pour protéger les cheveux des dommages dus à la chaleur. L'histidine (L) s'avère particulièrement adaptée dans de telles préparations qui servent à modeler et à renforcer les cheveux à l'aide d'air chaud. Les acides aminés basiques sont contenus dans la préparation, de préférence, dans une concentration de 0,01-1 % en poids et pour un pH de 4,5-7. On préfère plus particulièrement les préparations destinées à renforcer et à modeler les cheveux et contenant 0,1-5,0 % en poids d'un polymère filmogène et 0,05-2 % en poids d'un acide aminé basique dans une solution aqueuse ou alcoolique-aqueuse.
