Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Hochtemperatur-Polymer-Elektrolyt-Membran-(HTM)-Brennstoffzelle, eine Anlage mit HTM-Brennstoffzellen und ein Verfahren zum Betreiben einer HTM-Brennstoffzelle und/oder HTM-Brennstoffzellenanlage. Die Erfindung geht vom Prinzip der bekannten PEM-Brennstoffzelle aus und überwindet deren wesentlichen Nachteil, die Abhängigkeit vom Wassergehalt durch die Wahl eines neuen Elektrolyten und die Veränderung der Betriebsbedingungen insbesondere der Temperatur und des Drucks.
