明 細 書 鋸の鞘 技術分野
鋸の鞘は作業中に鋸を収納する目的で腰部に付けて使う道具である。この 発明はその鋸の鞘の一側面にも開口部を設けて鋸の挿入を容易にする物で ある。 技術背景
従来の鋸の鞘は鞘上部の挿入口より鋸を出し入れしていたが、この挿入 口の開口部は狭く頻繁に鋸を出し入れする場合には非常に不便であった。特 に刃渡りの長い鋸を鞘に挿入する際には腕を大きく上げて鞘の開口部に鋸の 先端部を合わせる必要があり、腰の上に位置する鞘の開口部から脇下の限ら れた範囲では非常に窮屈で作業能率が極めて悪い。又不慣れな作業者の場 合にはその都度開口部を目で確認しながら鋸の先端部を開口部に合わせな ければならす、特に足場の悪い高所での作業中にはその為にパランスを崩し て転落の可能性が高く危険である。これらを解決する為に鞘の開口部を大き くすれば鋸の出し入れは比較的容易にはなる。しかし腰周りに大きな開口部 を持つ鞘を取り付けるのは作業性を妨げるので不便である。従って作業性を 損なう事無く開口部を広げる必要がある。又複雑な構造では鞘の製造コスト が高くなるので簡単な方法で安価に製造する有効な方法が求められる。本発 明はこれらの欠点を除くためになされた物で、従来の鞘の開口部からその鞘 の一側面にかけて縦長の開口部を設けて、その側面の開口部からも鋸の挿 入が容易に出来るようにしたものである。 発明の開示
本発明の鋸の鞘の一側面に設けられた開口部は大きすぎると鋸刃の保護と いう鞘本来の目的をうることが出来ない。 と同時に鋸が自然に鞘から飛び出 す恐れがある。従って一側面に設けられる開口部の幅は鋸刃先端のやや幅 の狭い部分が斜めに入る程度とし、又側面の開口部の長さは鋸の刃渡りの 約 4分の 1から約 4分の 3が入る程度とする。又、本発明は鋸刃を開口部に 入れる時に鋸刃によって鞘に傷が付くのを最小限度にとどめ、更に鋸の目が 鞘にひっかかる事なくスムーズに挿入出来るよう鋸の目立てをしていない背 の部分から鞘に入れられるように、右利き用の鞘の場合には鞘の中心からや や左側に、左利き用の場合には鞘の中心からやや右側に開口部を設ける。 此れにより従来の鞘の上部にある開口部からだけではなく、鞘の側面からも スムーズに鋸を挿入する事が可能となる。 尚この発明による鋸の鞘は鈇ゃァ ルミニューム又は木や革、合成樹脂等で製作可能である。 図面の簡単な説明

本発明をより詳細に説述するために、添付の図面に従って此れを説明す る。
第 1図は一般的な挿入口 2を有する鞘本体 3とベルト通し用吊り具 4からな る鋸の鞘に本発明の側面部の開口部 1を設けた例を示している。この図は右 利き用の例で側面部の開口部は鞘の正面から見た時の中心線 A— Aからや や左側に設けられている。
第 2図は側面の開口部へ鋸 5を挿入する方向を示した図で、側面の開口部 へは鋸の目立てをしていない背部分から挿入する所を図示している。此れが ため鋸の刃によって鞘が傷付く程度が最小限に軽減され又鋸刃が揷入口に 引つかかる事なくスムーズに挿入できる。
第 3図は左利き用の鞘の実施例で側面の開口部 1は中心線 A— Aの左側 に設けられている例を示している。
第 4図は右利き用鞘に鋸を格納した実施例の正面図を示す。
第 5図は実際に本発明を実施した製品図である。 産業上の利用可能性
本発明は園芸の剪定用鋸だけでなく山林での枝の伐採用鋸または大工 用の鋸の鞘にも適している。

Claims

請 求 の 範 囲 鋸の鞘で鞘上部にある従来の鋸の挿入口に加え鞘の一側面にも細く長 い開口部があり、この細〈長い開口部からも鋸を挿入出来ることを特徴とする 鋸の鞘。
