  • corner joint is disclosed in FR 2.322.572.
  • the corner connector is formed relatively rigid, in the sense that the first portion of each flange of the corner connector completely fills up the corresponding portion of the longitudinal hollow space of the respective frame member.
  • the first rigid flange portion narrows into the substantially thinner and therefore more flexible second flange portion which extends obliquely to the inner upstanding wall of the longitudinal hollow space.

  • the latter will be accompanied by a force that urges the respective frame member towards the angular point of the connector, even in case of a non tapering form of the locking protuberance .
  • a further reduction of the friction between the first flange portion and the walls of the hollow space may be achieved by means of the feature that is mentioned in claim 2. Abstract
