Abstract

L'invention concerne un échangeur thermique (51) qui comporte des plaques constituées de tubes thermoplastiques (56, 61) disposés de manière à réduire la résistance thermique à la surface extérieure des tubes (56, 61), de préférence à cinq fois au maximum la résistance au transfert thermique à l'intérieur des tubes (56, 61). Ces tubes (56, 61) sont disposés dans les plaques par groupes (21, 32) pouvant être plats ou légèrement ondulés, de façon périodique par exemple, ou encore décalés, des espaces vides faisant face aux groupes (21, 32) de tubes placés en rangs alternés. Cette disposition maximise la turbulence à l'extérieur des tubes (56, 61) et réduit à un minimum les tourbillons pouvant bloquer le liquide de refroidissement dans les interstices entre les tubes (56, 61).
