Abstract

Dispositif (1) de type transmission destiné à actionner les mâchoires d'un frein à tambour pour un véhicule. Un premier (3) et un second (4) piston de frein sont montés dans un carter de manière à être axialement coulissants et à l'état monté, les pistons (3, 4) de frein entraînent l'actionnement correspondant des mâchoires de frein. Pour la réalisation du mouvement de coulissement dans le sens axial, les pistons (3, 4) sont reliés ensemble de manière opérationnelle par l'intermédiaire d'une tige de compression (5) et d'une première roue dentée (6) en interaction avec la tige de compression (5), la première roue dentée (6) étant entraînée à l'aide d'une seconde roue dentée (7). La présente invention permet un fonctionnement optimal des mâchoires de frein et une fabrication économique, du fait que la première (6) et la seconde (7) roue dentée sont engrenées l'une avec l'autre de manière telle qu'un coulissement axial de la première roue dentée (6) est possible.
