Abstract

L'invention concerne un ensemble piles primaire haute capacité (à usage unique; non rechargeable) pour appareils portatifs à courant fort tels que des téléphones cellulaires, qui emploie des cellules électrochimiques utilisant l'oxygène ambiant comme électrode. L'ensemble constitue une construction simple peu onéreuse grâce à un apport d'oxygène dans une configuration entièrement passive mais compacte. Pour obtenir ce caractère compact tout en assurant des taux d'échanges gazeux élevés nécessaires aux dispositifs à courant fort dans une construction à apport passif d'air, diverses stratégies de construction sont mises au point et appliquées dans divers modes de réalisation. De nombreux types de piles jetables ne sont pas rechargeables et peuvent provoquer des problèmes dangereux dans des appareils contenant des adaptateurs ou des chargeurs mains libres, tels des téléphones cellulaires. Un dispositif de protection permet de limiter la charge à un degré voulu ou d'empêcher complètement la charge. A cet effet, divers moyens sont décrits.
