  • a container to be emptied is placed on the support rails 7 using a crane or similar and is moved towards the fulcrum 9 until the fulcrum pin 11 engages with the hooked plate 10.
  • the container can now be lifted at the opposite end using the same crane or similar via the lifting strap 18 (see Fig. 1 ) so that it rotates around the fulcrum 4.
  • gravitational force will cause it to continue its rotational movement until it strikes the stop girder 13.
  • the impact against the stop girder 13 causes the contents of the container to be loosened and to fall freely down into the hold of the vessel or into the tank/storage room on which the frame 1 has been placed.
  • the container is rotated back to the initial position, i.e. on the support rails, using the crane, after which it is disengaged from the hooked plate 10, lifted right off the frame and replaced with a new container to be emptied.

Abstract

L'invention porte sur un agencement pour vider des réceptacles (3) à bord d'un navire dans une cuve, un réservoir, etc. Cet agencement comprend une structure (1) cadre conçue pour être placée au bord d'une écoutille (2) du navire ou de l'orifice d'une cuve ou espace de stockage, etc. Chaque réceptacle (3) est conçu pour être placé sur la structure (1) cadre et tourné autour d'un point d'appui de la structure cadre de façon à vider le réceptacle (3) par un orifice (20) placé au centre du cadre. La structure cadre peut être constituée de deux poutres (5) parallèles et de poutres (6, 13) transversales intermédiaires qui sont soudées ou vissées aux poutres (5) au niveau de leurs extrémités.
