  • the layers with gas must be of such a size that at the given difference of temperature the convection of heat is negligible.
  • Heat-insulating capability of such layer of gas is determined by the thermal conductivity coefficient of gas, absorptivity of infrared radiation of walls, difference of temperatures of walls, thickness of gas layer. Increase in number of layers has an effect upon temperature difference on the surface of the walls of individual gas layer, which is shown by rise of thermal resistance of both the layer in question and the whole system.

Cette invention concerne des systèmes isolants multicouches qui comprennent un grand nombre de couches de gaz (X) et de couches d'une substance de base (Y). Les couches de gaz (X) possèdent des dimensions telles que, lors d'une différence de température donnée, la convection de la chaleur est négligeable. Les couches de gaz individuelles (X) sont formées entre deux couches de substance de base (Y) qui sont connectées selon des distances données les unes aux autres ainsi qu'aux autres couches (Y).
