Abstract
Cette invention se rapporte au domaine de la métallurgie et concerne des dispositifs permettant d'ajuster le débit d'un métal liquide lors d'un processus de coulée continue dans des installations comportant des buses de coulée et de mise en forme. Afin d'accroître la fiabilité et la précision de la régulation du débit de métal liquide, on utilise un dispositif comprenant un récipient dans le corps duquel est fixé un conduit de remplissage comportant un robinet d'arrêt. Le dispositif comprend également un tube mobile qui comprend un élément de fermeture et qui communique avec l'espace gazeux du récipient, la section inférieure de ce tube étant immergée sous le niveau de liquide. D'après cette invention, le tube mobile est monté coaxialement dans le conduit qui est fixé dans le corps du récipient. La section inférieure du tube est disposée au-dessus de la section inférieure du conduit, tandis que l'espace annulaire séparant le tube mobile du conduit communique avec une source de gaz inerte. L'espace gazeux du récipient communique avec une conduite de vide et communique également, par l'intermédiaire de l'espace annulaire entre le tube mobile et le conduit, avec la source de gaz inerte. Il est en outre préférable que la surface au niveau de la section transversale du conduit ne représente pas plus d'1/3 de celle au niveau de la section transversale du récipient.
