Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Netzwerk mit mehreren Teilnehmern, in welchem zumindest ein Teilnehmer einen Kommunikationsprozessor aufweist, der unabhängig von anwendungsspezifischen Teilen (11) des Teilnehmers (1) betreibbar ist und bei einer Störung des Teilnehmers (1) eine Nachricht zur Störungsbehandlung an zumindest einen weiteren Teilnehmer (3) sendet. Dem Kommunikationsprozessor (6) ist ein Speicher (8) zugeordnet, in welchem die Nachricht zur Störungsbehandlung hinterlegt ist. Eine Überwachungsinstanz (9) ist zur Feststellung der Störung vorgesehen und veranlaßt den Kommunikationsprozessor (6) zur Übertragung der Nachricht. Die Erfindung wird angewandt in Kommunikationsprozessoren.
