Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte aux techniques de recyclage des déchets industriels et, notamment, aux techniques de recyclage de pneus usés. Cette invention permet d'accroître la densité de compactage volumétrique des matériaux à recycler, à savoir le caoutchouc et les câbles métalliques, lors du transport et du recyclage des pneus usés. A cette fin, le procédé de compactage consiste tout d'abord à séparer les pneus en une partie bande de roulement et en une partie flanc. Les parties bande de roulement des pneus sont ensuite découpées dans le plan radial puis enroulées sous forme d'une bande en spirale. Dans un aspect de ce procédé, la bande en spirale se compose de plusieurs parties bande de roulement qui sont enroulées successivement les unes après les autres. Dans un autre aspect de ce procédé, les parties flanc des pneus sont disposées les unes sur les autres en plaçant la partie convexe d'un même côté de manière à obtenir un paquet en forme d'anneau cylindrique.
