- the microprocessor 1 thus recognizes that the first operating button 12 is in the non-actuated idle state, but the second operating button 13 is in the pressed-in state.
- the illustrated embodiment can be expanded to any number of control buttons. If, for example, there are eight control buttons, the shift register 5 is formed with eight outputs, so that the microprocessor sends eight clock pulses at clock output 2 before the reset pulse is sent to shift register 5 via reset output 3, around the beginning of the next cycle.
