Abstract
Modulares Automatisierungssystem mit einer Kopf-Baugruppe (1) und Slave-Baugruppen (2), die an die Anschlußstellen (2) eines sich zwischen der Kopf-Baugruppe (1) und einem Busabschluß (5) erstreckenden Bussystems anschließbar sind, wobei das Bussystem zumindest einen Daten- und Steuerpfad (4) sowie einen Rückleitungspfad (6) zumindest mit einer Datenrückleitungsleitung (6R) aufweist, wobei sich die Datenrückleitungsleitung (6R) segmentweise zwischen einer ersten Anschlußstelle (2) und einer dieser Anschlußstelle (2) unmittelbar vorangehenden Anschlußstelle (2) erstreckt, so daß der Datenrückleitungspfad (6) bei belegten Anschlußstellen (2) über an das Bussystem angeschlossene Slave-Baugruppen (2) geschlossen ist, wobei der Rückleitungspfad (6) eine zusätzliche, sich segmentweise zwischen einer ersten Anschlußstelle (2) und einer übernächsten Anschlußstelle erstreckende Datenrückleitungsleitung (6R') aufweist, wobei der Rückleitungspfad (6) auch bei alternierend belegten und nicht belegten Anschlußstellen (2) über an das Bussystem angeschlossene Slave-Baugruppen (2) geschlossen ist.

Modulares Automatisierungssystem, Verfahren zum Betrieb eines modularen Automatisierungssystems und Bussystem für Automati- sierungsgeräte
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein modulares Automatisierungssystem mit einem speziellen Bussystem, ein Verfahren zum Betrieb eines modularen Automatisierungssystems, wobei das Verfahren von den Möglichkeiten des Bussystems Gebrauch macht sowie ein serielles Bussystem für Automatisierungsgeräte.
Modulare Automatisierungssysteme sind allgemein bekannt. Auch modulare Automatisierungssysteme, deren Komponenten, also die Baugruppen des Automatisierungssystems, über einen Bus kommunikativ miteinander verbunden sind, sind z.B. aus dem Fachbuch Färber: "Bussysteme", Oldenbourg Verlag, 1987, bekannt. Dabei sind Byte— oder Wortzugriffe bzw. ggf. auch Zugriffe auf größere Datenbereiche Standardfunktionen bekannter Syste- me.
Zugriffe auf kanalgranulare Peripherie, die z.B. ein oder zwei Bit als Eingangs— bzw. Ausgangskanal bietet, werden heute mit den gleichen Mechanismen durchgeführt, wobei dabei größere Datenbereiche nicht genutzt werden, da z.B. bei einem Byte-Zugriff sechs oder sieben Bit ungenutzt bleiben, bei einem Wort-Zugriff sogar 14 oder 15 Bit ungenutzt bleiben. Damit ergibt sich nachteilig, daß ein im Vergleich zu den Nutzdaten extrem hoher Overhead stets mit übertragen wird. Dies beeinflußt die Zeitbilanz der Kommunikationsvorgänge in dem Automatisierungssystem negativ. Das Problem ist mit parallelen Bussystemen nur bedingt lösbar, da diese aufgrund der Vielzahl von Verbindungsleitungen und der dafür notwendigen Kontakte für die Übergabe vergleichsweise aufwendig sind. Se- rielle Systeme dagegen berücksichtigen entweder die kanalgranulare Peripherie nicht, oder sie benutzen spezielle Übertragungsverfahren, die einen hohen Aufwand am Bus verursachen.
2 Im Falle von Automatisierungsgeräten zur Steuerung und/oder Überwachung externer technischer Prozesse ist weiterhin z.B. im Störungs- oder Diagnosefall ein Baugruppentausch während des Betriebs des Automatisierungssystems erforderlich. Aus Kostengründen ist diese Funktion jedoch nur bei speziellen Automatisierungssystemen realisiert .
Aus der US 5,408.616 ist eine automatische Anpassung eines Ringbussystems bei variabler Buslänge bekannt. Dabei wird ne- ben einer zusätzlichen Datenleitung eine zusätzliche Steuerleitung verwendet, die zur Erkennung genutzt wird, ob der jeweils nachfolgende Steckplatz belegt ist oder nicht. Die Möglichkeit, ein beliebiges Modul zu tauschen, ist nicht gegeben. Im Modulverband hinter einem freien Steckplatz positio- nierte Module sind am Bus nicht mehr betreibbar.
Die Aufgabe der Erfindung besteht darin, ein modulares Auto- matisierungssytem, ein Verfahren zum Betreiben eines modularen Automatisierungssystems bzw. ein serielles Bussystem an- zugeben, bei dem oder mit dem jeweils das Ziehen und Stecken einzelner Baugruppen im laufenden Betrieb ermöglicht ist.
Diese Aufgabe wird für ein modulares Automatisierungssystem mit einer Kopf-Baugruppe und Slave-Baugruppen, die an die An- schlußstellen eines sich zwischen der Kopfbaugruppe und einem Busabschluß erstreckenden Bussystems anschließbar sind, dadurch gelöst, daß das Bussystem zumindest einen Daten— und Steuerpfad sowie einen Rückleitungspfad zumindest mit einer Datenrückleitungsleitung aufweist, daß sich die Datenrücklei- tungsleitung segmentweise zwischen einer ersten Anschlußstelle und einer dieser Anschlußstelle unmittelbar vorangehenden Anschlußstelle erstreckt, so daß der Datenrückleitungspfad bei belegten Anschlußstellen über an das Bussystem angeschlossene Slave-Baugruppen geschlossen ist und daß der Rück- leitungspfad eine zusätzliche, sich segmentweise zwischen einer ersten Anschlußstelle und einer übernächsten Anschlußstelle erstreckende Datenrückleitungsleitung aufweist, wobei
3 der Rückleitungspfad auch bei alternativ belegten und nicht belegten Anschlußstellen über an das Bussystem angeschlossene Slave-Baugruppen geschlossen ist.
Vorteilhaft bleibt dabei der Rückleitungspfad beim Ziehen oder Stecken einer einzelnen Slave-Baugruppe geschlossen, sofern die der gezogenen oder gesteckten Slave-Baugruppe unmittelbar vorangehende Slave-Baugruppe und auch die der gezogenen oder gesteckten Slave-Baugruppe unmittelbar nachfolgende Slave-Baugruppe während des Zieh— bzw. Steckvorgangs mit dem Bussystem verbunden ist.
Die oben genannte Aufgabe wird gleichfalls durch ein Verfahren zum Betrieb eines modularen Automatisierungssystems mit einer Kopf-Baugruppe und Slave-Baugruppen, die an die Anschlußstellen eines sich zwischen der Kopf-Baugruppe und einem Busabschluß erstreckenden Bussystems anschließbar sind, gelöst, wobei das Bussystem zumindest einen Daten— und Steuerpfad sowie einen Rückleitungspfad zumindest mit einer Da- tenrückleitungsleitung aufweist, wobei sich die Datenrückleitungsleitung segmentweise zwischen einer ersten Anschlußstelle und einer dieser Anschlußstelle unmittelbar vorangehenden Anschußstelle erstreckt, wobei der Datenrückleitungspfad segmentweise mit dem Anschließen von Slave-Baugruppen an die An- schlußstellen geschlossen wird, wobei der Rückleitungspfad eine zusätzliche, sich segmentweise zwischen einer ersten Anschlußstelle und einer übernächsten Anschlußstelle erstrek- kende Datenrückleitungsleitung aufweist, wobei der Rückleitungspfad segmentweise auf alternierend belegten und nicht belegten Anschlußstellen über an das Bussystem angeschlossene Slave-Baugruppen geschlossen wird.
Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren ermöglicht analog zu dem erfindungsgemäßen Automatisierungssystem das Wechseln von Sla- ve-Baugruppen während des Betriebs des modularen Automatisierungssystems, sofern in dem Bussystem die beiden der gezoge-
nen bzw. gesteckten Baugruppe beidseitig unmittelbar benachbarten Baugruppen weiterhin mit dem Bussystem verbunden sind.
Ferner wird die Aufgabe durch ein serielles Bussystem für Au- tomatisierungsgeräte zum Anschuß von Slave-Baugruppen, sich erstreckend zwischen einer Kopf-Baugruppe und einem Busabschluß gelöst, wobei das Bussystem einen Versorgungspfad, aufweisend zumindest eine Masseleitung und eine Spannungsversorgungsleitung, einen Daten— und Steuerpfad, aufweisend zu- mindest eine Steuerleitung, eine Taktleitung und eine Datenleitung, und einen Rückleitungspfad, aufweisend zumindest eine Datenrückleitungsleitung, aufweist, wobei sich jede Einzelleitung des Versorgungspfades und des Daten— und Steuerpfades unterbrechungsfrei zwischen der Kopf-Baugruppe und dem Busabschluß erstreckt, wobei jede Einzelleitung des Versorgungspfades, des Daten— und Steuerpfades und des Rücklei- tungspfades durch jede angeschlossene Slave-Baugruppe stich- leitungsartig kontaktierbar ist und wobei sich die Datenrückleitungsleitung segmentweise zwischen jeweils zwei benachbar- ten Anschlußstellen erstreckt, so daß der Datenrückleitungspfad bei belegten Anschlußstellen über an das Bussystem angeschlossene Slave-Baugruppen geschlossen ist, wobei der Rückleitungspfad eine zusätzliche, sich segmentweise zwischen einer ersten Anschlußstelle und einer übernächsten Anschluß- stelle erstreckende Datenrückleitungsleitung aufweist, wobei der Rückleitungspfad auch bei alternierend belegten und nicht belegten Anschlußstellen über an das Bussystem angeschlossene Slave-Baugruppen geschlossen ist.
Die bereits für das modulare Automatisierungssystem bzw. für das Verfahren zum Betrieb eines modularen Automatisierungssystems angestellten Vorteilsbetrachtungen gelten auch für das erfindungsgemäße serielle Bussystem.
Die Störfestigkeit des seriellen Bussystems wird erhöht, wenn dieses einseitig oder beidseitig geschirmt ausgeführt ist, wobei die Masseleitung als Fläche ausgestaltet ist und unter
5 und/oder über den Busleitungen, also den Leitungen des Versorgungspfades, den Leitungen des Daten— und Steuerpfades und der oder den Leitungen des Rückleitungspfades, angeordnet ist.
Weitere Merkmale, Vorteile und Anwendungsmöglichkeiten der vorliegenden Erfindung ergeben sich aus den Unteransprüchen, der nachfolgenden Beschreibung eines Ausführungsbeispiels anhand der Zeichnung und der Zeichnung selbst. Dabei bilden al- le beschriebenen und/oder bildlich dargestellten Merkmale für sich oder in beliebiger Kombination den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung unabhängig von ihrer Zusammenfassung in den Patentansprüchen oder deren Rückbeziehung.
Dabei zeigen:

Gemäß FIG 1 erstreckt sich das Bussystem zwischen einer Kopf- Baugruppe 1 und dem Busabschluß 5. Für die Kopf-Baugruppe 1 wird im folgenden auch synonym auch die Bezeichnung auch Master 1 verwendet. Das Bussystem umfaßt den Versorgungspfad 3, den Daten— und Steuerpfad 4 sowie einen Rückleitungspfad 6. Die Baugruppen 2 des Automatisierungssystems sind stichlei- tungsartig zumindest an den Daten— und Steuerpfad 4 sowie den Rückleitungpfad 6 angeschlossen. Die Baugruppen 2, die in dem Automatisierungssystem den Anschluß externer Peripherie er- möglichen, werden im folgenden synonym auch als Slave 2 bezeichnet. 11 eine zusätzliche, sich segmentweise zwischen einer ersten Anschlußstelle (2) und einer übernächsten Anschlußstelle erstreckende Datenrückleitungsleitung (6R') aufweist, wobei der Rückleitungspfad (6) segmentweise auch bei alter- nierend belegten und nicht belegten Anschlußstellen (2) über an das Bussystem angeschlossene Slave-Baugruppen
(2) geschlossen wird.
3. Serielles Bussystem für Automatisierungsgeräte zum An- schluß von Slave-Baugruppen (2), sich erstreckend zwischen einer Kopf-Baugruppe (1) und einem Busabschluß (5), mit - einem Versorgungspfad (3), aufweisend zumindest eine Masseleitung (3M) und eine Spannungsversorgungsleitung (3V) , - einem Daten- und Steuerpfad (4), aufweisend zumindest eine Steuerleitung (4C) , eine Takleitung (4T) und eine Datenleitung (4D) , und einem Rückleitungspfad (6), aufweisend zumindest eine Datenrückleitungsleitung (6R), - wobei sich jede Einzelleitung des Versorgungspfades (3) und des Daten- und Steuerpfades
(4) unterbrechungsfrei zwischen der Kopfbaugruppe (1) und dem Busabschluß
(5) erstreckt, wobei jede Einzelleitung des Versorgungspfades (3), des Daten- und Steuerpfades (4) und des Rückleitungspfades
(6) durch jede angeschlossene Slave-Baugruppe (2) stich- leitungsartig kontaktierbar ist und
- wobei sich die Datenrückleitungsleitung (6R) segmentweise zwischen jeweils zwei benachbarten Anschlußstellen (2) erstreckt, so daß der Datenrückleitungspfad (6) bei belegten Anschlußstellen (2) über an das Bussystem angeschlossene Slave-Baugruppen (2) geschlossen ist,
- wobei der Rückleitungspfad (6) eine zusätzliche Datenrückleitungsleitung (6R') aufweist, die sich zusammen mit der Datenrückleitungsleitung (6R) segmentweise zwischen einer ersten Anschlußstelle und einer übernächsten Anschlußstelle erstreckt,
12 - wobei der Rückleitungspfad auch bei alternierend belegten und nicht belegten Anschlußstellen (2) über an das Bussystem angeschlossene Slave-Baugruppen (2) geschlossen ist.
4. Serielles Bussystem nach Anspruch 3, g e k e n n z e i c h n e t d u r c h eine einseitig oder beidseitig geschirmte Ausführung, wobei die Masseleitung (3M) als Fläche ausgestaltet ist und unter und/oder über den Busleitungen (3V, 4C, 4T, 4D, 6R, 6R' ) angeordnet ist.
