Definitions
- the invention relates to a device with a virtual input device
- a virtual input device is described in DE 196 12 949 Cl. This has an operating surface in the manner of an input tablet, which is formed by a table top. An image of an input device to be actuated, generally the key area of a keyboard, is projected onto the table top by a video projector. An electronic camera picks up the hand of a user operating the input device and forwards the image data to a computer. The finger pointing to a detail of the input device and its position with respect to the operating surface are recognized as such in a pattern recognition process.
- the object of the invention is to adapt a device of the type mentioned to the different handling conditions.
- the carrier can be adapted to the needs of a wide variety of users. In the event of service, the carrier can be lowered so far that the camera and the video projector are at working height.
- the carrier is slidably mounted on a stand.
- the latter preferably comprises two columns which are spaced parallel to one another and on which the carrier is mounted in a sliding or rolling manner.
- a height adjustment device engaging on the carrier is arranged between the columns.
- this comprises at least one endless belt which extends over a deflection roller and a belt roller driven by a motor and extends parallel to the columns and on one strand of which the carrier is attached.
- the height adjustment device comprises at least one threaded spindle, which is driven by a motor and extends parallel to the columns, and the carrier is equipped with a complementary transport thread.
- the carrier is mounted on a stand via parallel links.
- the carrier can be pivotable on the stand about a pivot axis running through or at the operating surface and parallel to the surface of the operating surface. For service purposes, the carrier can then be swiveled into a horizontal position in which the camera and the video projector are easily accessible.
- the control surface consists of a transparent material with a roughened, in particular etched surface, and the video projector is arranged below the control surface.
- the video projector is particularly well protected against vandalistic attacks.
- Another advantage is that the projected image cannot be shadowed by the user's hand.
- the use of the pivot axis running parallel to the surface of the operating surface is particularly advantageous because only with this arrangement does the video projector in the pivoted position of the carrier reach the service technician's hand.
- 1 shows a self-service device in a perspective front view according to a first exemplary embodiment
- 2 shows a first embodiment of a height adjustment of the self-service device shown in FIG. 1
- Fig. 3 shows a second embodiment of a height adjustment of the self-service device shown in Fig. 1 in a highly schematic side view.
- a self-service device is generally designated 10.
- the essential construction element is an upright, internally hollow wall element 12 with an arcuate cross-sectional profile.
- the concave surface 14 of the wall element 12 is the operating side 16 of the self-service device 10.
- the wall element 12 is divided into three strips: two lateral strips 17 enclose a central strip 17 '.
- the wall element 12 is placed on a base plate 18.
- Privacy screens 20 are attached to the lateral strips 17 of the wall element 12.
- An operating surface 22 is attached to the middle tire 17 'above the base plate 18 and parallel to it, approximately at table height.
- the self-service device 10 is closed at the top by an attachment 24, the structure of which will be explained further below.
- An automatic teller machine 26 is attached to the rear of the wall element 12 and is assigned a money compartment 28 which penetrates the central strip 17 'of the wall element 12 above the operating surface 22 and is thus accessible from the operating side 16.
- ATMs and associated cash compartment flaps are generally known and are therefore not described in more detail.
- a card reader 30 is installed above the money compartment 28 in the central strip 17 'of the wall element 12.
- a further compartment 32 which is closed by a transparent cover, is arranged in the middle strip 17 'above the card reader 30. Behind the- ser is a video camera, not shown, and a proximity sensor installed in the further compartment 32.
- the section of the wall element 12 arranged above the operating surface 22 forms the operating area 34 of the self-service device 10.
- the attachment 24 is designed as a hollow body which is closed at the top by a cover plate 36 and includes a housing 38.
- an electronic camera 40, a video projector 42 and a lighting device 44 are arranged in such a way that the camera 40 can capture the space above the operating surface 22, the video projector 42 an image, for example the key surface of a keyboard, on a projection surface 46 can be depicted sharply on the control surface 22 and the lighting device 44 uniformly illuminates the space above the control surface 22.
- a loudspeaker 48 is installed in the housing 38, which sonicates the area between the wall element 12 and the screen 20.
- the part of the middle strip 17 ′ belonging to the operating area 34, the operating surface 22 and the housing 38 are attached to a height-adjustable carrier 50 (FIG. 2).
- This is slidably mounted on a stand 52.
- the stand 52 essentially consists of two parallel columns 54, the spacing of which is determined by an upper cross bar 56 and a lower cross bar 58.
- the carrier 50 is slidably supported on the columns 54 in the longitudinal direction thereof.
- a height adjustment device 60 engaging on the carrier 50 is arranged between the columns 54.
- the height adjustment device 60 comprises a gear 64 with a flange-mounted motor 62 placed on the lower cross bar 58.
- the output shaft 66 of the gear 64 aligned parallel to the lower cross bar 58 protrudes from the latter on both sides.
- a belt pulley 68 is placed on each of the free shaft ends.
- a second shaft 70 arranged parallel to the latter is rotatably mounted between the columns 54.
- Two deflection rollers 72 are placed on the second shaft 70.
- An endless belt 74 is stretched out between each belt roller 68 and the deflection roller 72 opposite it.
- the lower end of the carrier 50 merges into a flange plate 76, which in turn is attached to the strand of the two endless belts 74 facing the operator side 16.
- each endless belt 74 is clamped to the flange plate 76 with the aid of a counter plate 78.
- the motor 62 is energized in accordance with the desired direction of displacement, as a result of which the endless belts 74 rotate in the desired direction.
- the carrier 50 is taken along in the direction of arrow A.
- the motor 62 can be activated by a changeover switch with a neutral rest position. A user can make a height adjustment over an area corresponding to the length of arrow A, while an additional adjustment area A 'is possible in the case of service.
- a height adjustment according to a second embodiment is designated by 80 in total.
- a second middle strip 17 "of a wall element, which is otherwise not shown in more detail, is fastened to a column 84 via two parallel links 82.
- Each parallel link 82 can be pivoted about a pivot bearing 83 on the column 84.
- a second housing 38 'attached is equipped according to the housing 38 in Fig. 1.
- An automated teller machine 26 'enclosed by a safe 86 is set up behind the wall element. 7
- the cover plate 88 of the safe 86 is provided with an opening 90 which is penetrated by a vertical conveyor 92 for banknotes to be issued from the safe 86.
- the vertical conveyor 92 ends at a transfer point 93.
- This is followed by a transport path 96 comprising two parallel conveyor belts 94, which ends in a second cash compartment 28 '.
- a second operating surface 22 ' which is oriented normal to the second central strip 17 ", is arranged below the second money compartment 28'.
- the second middle strip 17 ′′ can be pivoted between an upper position (shown with solid lines) and a lower position (shown in dashed lines).
- the parallel links 82 swing around the pivot bearings 83.
- the inclination of the transport section 96 is also adjusted in the same way so that it adapts to each position of the second middle strip 17 "and always ends in the second money compartment 28 '.
- the described transport route arrangement can also be used with a height adjustment according to FIG. 2.
