Abstract

Bei Bremsbetätigung aus dem Stand der Technik bekannter Trommelbremsen, insbesondere Duo-Servo-Trommelbremsen, treten nicht selten erhebliche Schwankungen innerhalb der Bremswirkung auf. Diese sind sowohl auf Fertigungstoleranzen als auch auf stark schwankende Kennungswerte der Trommelbremse durch Selbstverstärkungseffekte zurückzuführen. Zur Reduzierung derartiger Bremswirkungsschwankungen und zur Homogenisierung des Anpreßverhaltens der Trommelbremsbacken (1) innerhalb der Bremstrommel ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, den Belagträger (2) der Bremsbacke (1) bezogen auf axiale Biegung elastisch nachgiebig zu gestalten. Dazu ist der aus Trägerband (4) und Steg (5) bestehende Belagträger (2) im in Umfangsrichtung mittleren Abschnitt des Steges (5) mit einer gezielt ausgelegten Einschnürung (6) versehen. Durch eine derartige Reduzierung des Materialquerschnittes des Steges (5) wird eine biegeweiche Trommelbremsbacke (1) geschaffen, deren homogenes Anpreßverhalten eine gleichbleibende Bremswirkung unabhängig vom jeweiligen Betriebszustand der Bremse ermöglicht.
