Cette serrure de porte comporte un système de verrouillage à mécanisme interne commandé par un organe externe d'accès (9) ainsi qu'un module (6) équipant la serrure et servant à bloquer ou à libérer le mécanisme interne de verrouillage. Ce module (6), qui est commandé électroniquement, est capable de bloquer ou de libérer le mécanisme de verrouillage après avoir identifié et reconnu l'organe externe d'accès. Cette disposition renforce la sécurité du système.
