- the locking bushing 14 is then rotated through a certain angular path by a radial drive (not shown), as a result of which the star-shaped contours of the claws 9 and the claw openings come out of overlap. This rotary movement becomes possible because the locking bush 14 is stress-free and because it is sufficiently slidably mounted on the outside and inside.
- the locking unit is opened by loading the locking piston 12 on the piston side, as a result of which the shoulders of the claws 9 and the shoulders of the claw openings 19 stand out from one another. This relieves the locking bush 14 and can therefore be switched. By turning the locking bush 14, the contours of the claws 9 and the claw openings 19 again overlap, so that the now driven travel unit 3 brings the two mold halves apart.
