Abstract

Ce dispositif protège le radiateur (1) d'un véhicule à moteur contre l'impact de particules. Le radiateur (1) comprend des tuyaux à nervures (2 à 6) mutuellement espacés, servant à l'écoulement du milieu de refroidissement. Selon l'invention, les parois des tuyaux à nervures, qui à l'état monté du radiateur (1) sont orientées dans la direction de l'impact des particules (flèche 19) et soumises à des contraintes mécaniques, présentent, comme seule protection contre l'impact des particules, un blindage qui les recouvre directement et y est mécaniquement relié sans aucun écartement. Ce blindage est de préférence obtenu par un simple épaississement (18) du matériau dont sont constitués les tuyaux à nervures, par application d'une chenille (21) en un matériau élastique sur les tuyaux à nervures et/ou par des barres (23) accrochées par des clips sur les tuyaux à nervures, plusieurs rails de couverture (23) formant de manière appropriée une grille (22) sur les tuyaux à nervures.
