Abstract
A process is disclosed for impregnating solid bodies, such as wood, in particular rail mounts made of or containing wood, with an impregnating agent which is liquid during impregnation. The solid body is arranged in a container, a negative pressure (preliminary vacuum) is generated in the container and then the impregnating agent is introduced under an overpressure into the solid body (impregnation process). In order to protect solid bodies, in particular rail mounts or other building elements made of or containing wood against fungus and animal pests in a highly effective manner, after the preliminary vacuum is generated in the container, the container is filled with inert gas, maintained at an overpressure, and then the solid body is impregnated with a biocide-containing impregnating agent which hardens after impregnation in the solid body by auto-oxidation and/or polymerisation.
Claims
1. 2. Imprägniermittel nach Anspruch 1 mit aus Leinöl, Rapsöl, Fischtran, Sojabohnenöl, Sonnenblumenöl oder Gemische dieser bestehenden Trägerflüssigkeit.2.
