Abstract

The invention concerns a device for rolling up one or several ties of different thickness and length, in a receptacle for storage or travel, or in a cabinet or display pack, without crumpling them, and so that whole set can be seen at one glance, whatever the material used for making the device(s). The device consists of a receptacle (1) with one or several semi-cylindrical or U-shaped open cavities (2), closed by a side wall (3) at both ends. Each cavity (2) is run through by a slotted piece (5) which fits into the holes (4) provided in the side walls (3). An operating knob (9) actuates this slotted piece (5), which by rotating will roll up the tie or other fabric strip (7). After rolling up the tie(s) or other fabric strips (7), the user can close the device by means of a flap (10) forming a case for making it compact and easy to carry. The invention also concerns the use of several devices for producing a cabinet or display rack, whereby the user enjoys all the advantages of the invention, although the object is totally different from the travel item.
