Abstract
Cette invention concerne un procédé de soudage de rechargement par contact électrique, lequel peut être utilisé dans divers domaines des machines-outils afin de recharger des pièces de machines ou afin de renforcer ces pièces. Ce procédé consiste à déformer la baguette d'apport ainsi que la couche de surface du métal, ceci tout en faisant passer un courant du soudure modulé à travers les sections à souder. Afin de garantir un échauffement minimal dans la zone de soudage de rechargement lors de vitesses de chauffage élevées, on envoie un milieu réfrigérant tel que de l'eau. Cette technique permet de fabriquer des articles qui ne comportent pas de fissures, ceci même à partir de métaux qui ne pouvaient être rechargés d'après un tel procédé comme les fontes ou les aciers à haute résistance.
