Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil conçus pour enlever et récupérer un métal d'apport sur un dispositif ou un élément tel qu'une carte à circuit imprimé pourvue de composants électroniques. Un milieu thermique fabriqué à partir de particules solides ou d'un liquide est mis en contact avec un dispositif ou un élément de manière à faire fondre le métal d'apport grâce à la chaleur transmise par le milieu thermique vers ledit métal, et à appliquer une force d'impact à une partie soudée au moyen dudit milieu thermique. Une partie soudée présente une mouillabilité élevée vis-à-vis du métal d'apport, ce métal d'apport ne pouvant être enlevé de la partie soudée s'il est simplement fondu. Ce procédé permet néanmoins d'enlever ledit métal d'apport, à un taux de réussite de séparation qui dépasse 95 %.
