- Figures 1, 3, 4 and 6 show how the first plate 7 has a longitudinally arranged fixing shoulder 25 one of whose ends, the interior 26, it is arranged at a relatively short distance from the through hole 18 for the coupling of a ratchet, while its other end, the outside 27, reaches the outer end 28 of the first resistance arm 10.
- the fixing shoulder 25 has a through hole longitudinal 29 of quadrangular cross-section as shown in detail in Figure 5, the longitudinal hole 29 being sized to receive the end portion 22 of the steel cable, and the fixing shoulder 25 being adapted so that the terminal 24 rests on its inner end 23 as shown in Figure 1.
- Figures 1, 4 and 6 show that, for guiding the end portion 22 of the steel cable, the first resistance arm 10 and at its outer end 28 has a groove 30 of quadrangular cross-section adapted to accommodate the end portion 22 of the steel cable, having one of the ends of the groove 30, the outside 31, a mouth 45 adapted to receive the end portion 22 of the steel cable tangentially, while its other end, the inside 32, tangentially and coplanarly into the longitudinal through hole 29 through an opening 33 disposed at the outer end 27 of the fixing shoulder 25 shown in Figures 1 and 4.
- Figures 1, 3 and 4 show how the first plate 7 externally has, in its intermediate portion 34 comprised between the through hole 18 for fixing a ratchet and the handle 2, three ribs cross-sections 35 that extend in all their amplitude and a perimeter flange 36, the object of such ribs 35 and flange 36 being the structural reinforcement of the first plate 7 in order to avoid deformation under normal working conditions.
- Figures 2, 3 and 4 show how the second plate 8 externally has three transverse ribs 37 and a perimeter flange 38, in both cases of structural reinforcement.
- Figure 1 shows how the first resistance arm 10 externally has a perimeter flange 39 and two longitudinal ribs 40 that link said flange 39 with the transverse rib 12 of connection with the first plate 7, the object of such flange 39 and ribs 40 the structural reinforcement of the first resistance arm 10 so as to, in normal working conditions, prevent its deformation.
- Figure 2 shows how the second resistance arm 11 externally has a perimeter flange 41 and two longitudinal ribs 42, in both cases of structural reinforcement.
- FIGs 7 and 8 a second embodiment of the brake lever according to the invention is shown, which differs from the first embodiment described above only by the structural reinforcement of the first and second resistance arms 10, 11.
- the structural reinforcement of the first resistance arm 10 comprises a thickening 43 extending between the transverse link rib 12 and the outer end 28.
