Abstract

Ein Kernbrennstoffsinterkörper, der das Hüllrohr eines Brennstabs aufgrund von Abbrand optimal gering beansprucht und eine chemische Verbindung von Sauerstoff und mindestens einem der Stoffe Uran und Plutonium aufweist, zeigt in einem keramographischen Anschliff ein erstes (1) und ein zweites (2) Schliffbild, die beide jeweils einer gesinterten Granule zuzuordnen sind. Das erste Schliffbild (1) hat eine erste Porengrößenverteilung (I) und das zweite Schliffbild (2) eine zweite Porengrößenverteilung (II) bezogen auf die Fläche des jeweiligen Schliffbilds. Die Summe (III) aus beiden Porengrößenverteilungen hat ein erstes (M1) und ein zweites (M2) Maximum. Ein Verfahren zum Herstellen eines solchen Kernbrennstoffsinterkörpers und ein Brennstab mit einem Hüllrohr und einem solchen Kernbrennstoffsinterkörper sind ebenfalls angegeben.
