Abstract

The curtain slide has a sleeve or loop (5), which is to be inserted into slits on the top edge of the curtain. The sleeve (5) has a gap (6) over its whole length, from the edges of which two flexing legs (1, 2) splay outwards, whose purpose is to rest on a rail. In a preferred embodiment, the legs have reinforcing ribs (12).

Description

Curtain glider

The present invention relates to a curtain glider, in particular made of plastic, consisting of a two-leg expansion part provided for insertion into or snapping onto a slide rail, the legs of which are resiliently movable relative to one another and have stops at the upper ends for engaging behind the slide profile of the rail, and a sleeve or eyelet attached to the lower end of the legs for mounting in recesses along the upper edge of a curtain.

Such curtain sliders have become known, but have not really been able to assert themselves, since the sleeves or eyelets must first be sewn onto the curtain before they, together with the curtain, are placed on the rail from below. This avoids the inconvenient threading of the gliders on the rail sides (through narrow openings), but the attachment to the curtain remains.

It was therefore an object of the present invention to provide a curtain glider which can be attached easily and easily to both the rail and the curtain.

This object is achieved in the case of a curtain glider of the type defined at the outset by the features according to the characterizing part of claim 1.

Preferred embodiments of the invention are defined in dependent claims 2 to 5. The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to embodiments shown in the drawings. Show it:

The curtain glider shown in Fig. 1 of the drawings is made of plastic and has two resilient legs 1, 2 extending radially outwards in a V-shape (above). A bead-shaped thickening 3 is provided at each of the upper leg ends, which serve as sliding surfaces in a rail 4 (FIG. 2). At the lower ends of the legs 1, 2, a sleeve or eyelet 5 is provided, which is used for hanging in slots 7 on the upper edge of a curtain 8. The sleeve 5 has a continuous transverse gap 6 between the legs 1, 2. The slots 7 can be sewn into the curtain in the form of buttonholes (if the curtain has no suitable openings), as can be seen in FIG. 2.

The sliders are attached to the curtain 8 by passing one of the legs 1, 2 through the slot 7. For hanging the legs 1, 2 are pressed together and inserted into the rail groove 9 from below. Thanks to the beads 3, they cannot be unintentionally detached from the rail 4, but can be moved laterally like other sliders.

Fig. 3 shows a possible variant, which is suitable for rail profiles without a groove. The structural principle is the same, with the difference that the legs 1 ', 2' for snapping onto a rail 4 'are not pressed together but are easily spread apart. Fig. 3a shows the assembled position of this glider variant.

4 now shows a further preferred variant of the slider according to the invention. 1 in the form of two outwardly projecting ribs 10 and 11, which together form a horizontal groove. Furthermore, a reinforcing rib 12 is provided on the outside of the two legs 1, 2, which is also guided around the sleeve 5 and ends at the lower rib 11. This reinforcing rib 12 stabilizes the slider without preventing the property of being compressed or pushed apart. FIG. 5 finally shows a glider according to FIG. 4 in the suspended state. In this slider design, the free legs of the rail 4 are surrounded by the groove formed by the two ribs 10 and 11, which serves as a sliding element. The advantage here is that the sliders cannot be accidentally moved upwards. In contrast to FIG. 4, the reinforcing rib 12 here is straight on the side, which allows simpler manufacture by means of a simplified injection mold.

Of course, the reinforcing ribs 12 shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 can also be used in the glider variants according to FIGS. 1 to 3a.

Claims

1. curtain slider, in particular made of plastic, consisting of a two-leg spreading part provided for insertion into or snapping onto a slide rail (4; 4 '), the legs (1, 2) of which are resiliently movable relative to one another and stops at the upper ends for engaging behind the slide profile of the rail, and a sleeve or eyelet (5) attached to the lower end of the legs for attachment in recesses (7) along the upper edge of a curtain (8), characterized in that the sleeve or eyelet (5 ) is provided with a transverse continuous gap (6) and the two legs (1, 2; 1 ', 2') of the expansion part extend radially outward from one of the gap edges.
