- the present invention relates to a tension rod device to be mounted between a balcony slab and a column for supporting the balcony slab on a wall, said device having two mounting means, one of which is adapted to be fixed to the balcony slab and the other of which is adapted to be fixed to the column, and a tension rod, which is adapted to be connected to the two mounting means.
- Prior art tension rod devices of this type comprise a plurality of components and are therefore relatively difficult to mount, especially in respect of the adapta ⁇ tion of the device to any inaccuracies in the column structure and any inclination of the wall on which the balcony slab is to be mounted.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a simple tension rod device, which has few components and which obviates the above-mentioned drawbacks.
- each of the two mounting means consists of a bolt for such attachment to the balcony slab and the column, respectively, that the bolt is rotatable about its axis, each bolt having a bolt head in the form of a nut, whose hole axis extends perpendicularly to the bolt axis, and the two nuts having threads directed in opposite direc ⁇ tions relative to each other, and that the tension rod is a rod, which at its ends has oppositely directed threads and is adapted to be screwed into the nut of the respec- tive mounting means.
- the tension rod preferably has a gripping means which is adapted to be gripped by a tool for rotation of the tension rod.
- the gripping means preferably is a flat ⁇ tened portion of the tension rod, said portion being designed to be gripped by a spanner or a similar tool.

- the device 5 comprises a tension rod 6 and two iden ⁇ tical mounting means 7 and 8.
- the tension rod 6 is a round rod, which is threaded at both ends, one end having a left-hand thread and the other end having a right-hand thread.
- Each of the mounting means 7 and 8 is a bolt having a bolt head in the form of a nut 9, 10, the hole axis of which is perpendicular to the bolt axis (see Fig. 3) .
- the mounting means 7 and 8 are attached to the column 2 and the balcony slab 3, respectively, in such a manner as to be rotatable about the respective bolt axes.
- the nut 9 of the mounting means 7 and the nut 10 of the mounting means 8 have a thread corresponding to respec ⁇ tively one and the other end threads of the round rod 6 (left-hand and right-hand thread) .
- the threaded ends of the round rod 6 are screwed into the respective nuts 9, 10 in order that the round rod, when rotated, should be screwed further into or screwed a distance out of the nuts 9, 10 in dependence on the direction of rotation.
- the round rod 6 has a flattened portion 11, which can be gripped by a spanner or a similar tool for rota ⁇ tion of the round rod 6.
