Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Bindung für Snowboards u.dgl., bestehend aus Bindungsgrundplatten (1a, 1b), die am Snowboard befestigt sind, zwei Bindungsträgerplatten (2a, 2b), die mit Befestigungsvorrichtungen versehen sind, um jeweils an einem Schuh des Benützers des Snowboards befestigt zu werden, wobei an den Bindungsgrundplatten (1a, 1b) Halteelemente (3a, 3b) vorgesehen sind, die dazu ausgebildet sind, die Bindungsträgerplatten (2a, 2b) zu halten, jedoch bei einer vorbestimmten Auslösekraft freizugeben, und wobei ein Verbindungselement vorgesehen ist, um beim Lösen einer Bindungsträgerplatte (2a, 2b) zwangsläufig die andere Bindungsträgerplatte (2a, 2b) von der Bindungsgrundplatte (1a, 1b) zu lösen. Ein sicheres Auslösen wird dadurch erreicht, daß an den Bindungsgrundplatten (1a, 1b) Führungselemente (8a, 8b, 13a, 13b) vorgesehen sind, die ein Auslösen der Bindungsträgerplatte (2a, 2b) nur in der Längsrichtung des Snowboards erlauben.
