Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour la mise à l'eau et la récupération d'un canot de bord (25) à partir du pont (4) d'un bateau, en particulier pendant la navigation et dans des conditions de grosse mer. Pendant qu'il est levé ou abaissé au moyen d'un dispositif de levage, ainsi que pendant son déplacement à côté du bateau jusqu'à ce qu'il soit fixé au dispositif de levage ou libéré de celui-ci, le canot de bord est guidé horizontalement. Le dispositif présenté comporte une grue de pont (2) pourvue d'une flèche articulée montée pivotante (1) sur le pont du bateau, le long de laquelle est guidé un câble de levage (2) qui peut être enroulé sur un treuil de levage (39) ou déroulé de celui-ci pour lever ou abaisser le canot de bord, et qui comporte au moins une première partie de flèche (7) sur laquelle est montée pivotante une pointe de forme allongée (8) qui porte un dispositif de stabilisation destiné au canot de bord, dispositif qui peut être pressé contre celui-ci ou enlevé de celui-ci et à l'extrémité libre duquel se trouve un dispositif de guidage (30) destiné au câble de levage (2), dispositif par lequel le câble de levage sort de la pointe de flèche (8).
