Definitions
- the invention relates to a contactor safety combination with a first contactor with a first contact carrier, with a second contactor with a second contact carrier, contacts being switchable via the two contact carriers, and with the contactors functioning properly for proper operation ensuring locking.
- Contactor safety combinations are known as electrical circuits. They usually consist of three auxiliary contactors or relays. The position of the contactors K2 and K3 is queried via a contactor K1 before switching on in accordance with the circuit shown in FIG. In fault-free operation, the enabling circuit, consisting of series connection of NC contacts, NO contacts K2 and NO contacts K3, is switched through by the NC contact. Safe disconnection even in the event of a fault is ensured by the series connection of the NO contacts K2 and K3. The functionality of these versions is guaranteed by an electrical interlock or position query of the contactors Kl, K2 and K3. The embodiment is characterized by a high wiring effort. In order to avoid wiring errors, the main part of the necessary wiring is realized via a printed circuit board. The quality of the release current path on the circuit board determines the permissible current. In known contactor safety combinations, this is below the permissible current of the individual contactors.
- a restart lock of a relay is known from DE 36 02 692 AI.
- the restart interlock of a relay that simultaneously switches two contact arrangements by means of a switching finger is implemented here.
- a common switching element, on which a pointer is formed, acts on the two movable contacts of the contact arrangements. Its free end lies in the path of movement of the switching finger when both movable contacts are in the same position.
- the pointer and the switching finger are so narrow that the actuating surface of the pointer lies outside the movement path of the switching finger when the switching element is pivoted due to the different position of the two movable contacts, ie when one of the contacts is glued.
- the invention has for its object to provide a contactor safety combination of the type mentioned above, which is inexpensive and simple, enables the use of contactors of any size and requires only two contactors.
- a locking module is provided as an independent unit for locking, by means of which the two contactors are coupled.
- the advantage of this solution is that contactors of any size can be switched, and that the switching of powerful consumers is also possible.
- Conventional contactors in connection with the locking module can be assembled by the customer to form a contactor safety combination.
- the solution is suitable for both AC and DC contactors.
- 1 shows two contactors and a locking module coupling them in the position of the contactors before switching on in the undisturbed state
- 2 shows the basic coupling of two contactors with one
- FIG. 3 shows the basic coupling of two contactors with one locking module with during the switch-off process in the disturbed state
- FIG. 4 shows the basic coupling of two contactors with one
- FIG. 5 shows an electrical circuit of the contactor safety combination
- FIG. 6 shows an arrangement of the locking construction system according to FIG
- FIG. 7 shows an arrangement of the locking system according to FIGS. 1 to 4 on the front of two contactors.
- 1 shows a locking device 5 as well as an indicative first contactor 1 and a second contactor 3, both of which are coupled by the locking device 5, resulting in a contactor safety combination.
- 1 shows the position of contactors 1 and 3 before switching on in the undisturbed state.
- Each of the two contactors 1 and 3 has a first contact carrier 2 and a second contact carrier 4, through which - as indicated - normally open contacts 15 and 16 can be switched.
- the contact carriers 2 and 4 have projections 6 which protrude through a recess 7 in the respective housing wall 8 of the contactors 1 and 3 and are provided with a round pin 17 at the end.
- the recesses 7 are dimensioned such that the projections 6 on the contact supports 2 and 4 can move freely with them when the normally open contacts 15 and 16 are switched on.
- the locking unit 5 comprises a heart-shaped coupling element 9, the tip of which is formed as a nose-shaped projection 10, and two scissor-like, crossed, rotatably mounted beams 12, the ends of which are directed towards the coupling element 9 and taper off, while the ends facing away from one another Tension spring 13 are interconnected.
- the Ver- locking components 9, 12, 13 are arranged in a cuboid housing 19. An opening 11 is formed by the two bars 12, into which the nose-shaped projection 10 of the coupling element 9 is immersed when the contactors 1 and 3 are switched on.
- the coupling element 9 arranged above the opening 11 has slots 18 on both sides, the round pins 17 of the projections 6 of both contactors 1 and 3 being inserted. This results in rotary bearings via which the coupling element 9 is held and can be rotated about its center of gravity.
- smd stops 20 are provided on the sides facing the housing 19 of the locking module 5, the function of which is described elsewhere.
- the coupling element 9 is also moved downward in the same direction when it is switched on and is immersed in the opening 11 em formed by the crossed bars 12.
- the contactor safety combination described can be used in the same way for contactors to be locked with break contacts.
- FIG. 3 shows the disturbed state of the contactor safety combination during the switch-off process.
- the disturbed state is based on welding one of the normally open contacts 15 or 16, in the present case a normally open contact 16 of the second contactor 3 being welded so that the associated second contact carrier 4 is caught and the other first contact carrier 2 of the undisturbed one first contactor 1 moves freely upwards.
- the mounting of the coupling element 9 via the rotary bearings 17, 18 enables such a movement in which the coupling member 9 rotates and its nose-shaped projection 10 slides along the inside of the one beam 12.
- the pressure exerted on the bar 12 can be due to the rotatable mounting of the bar 12 in Connection with the tension spring 13 can be taken up without any problems, ie without damaging stress.
- the second contactor 3 is also locked after one of the normally open contacts 15 of the first contactor 1 is welded. This means that a release only takes place if from a trouble-free state, i.e. non-welded normally open contacts 15 or 16 is switched on.
- the contactor 5 shows a circuit diagram of the contactor safety combination.
- the normally open contacts 15 and 16 of the contactors 1 and 3 are connected in series. Accordingly, it can also be switched off if 1 or 3 NO contacts weld to one of the contactors during or after switching on.
- the lock is designed so that the contactors can open independently. The error is reliably detected the next time the device is switched on.
- the wiring effort is limited to the direct control of the coils and the wiring of the enabling circuits. Due to the protection-calculated wiring, it is not necessary to restrict the data of the individual devices for the combination.
- the locking unit 5 can sit both between the shooters (see FIG. 6), on the front (FIG. 7) of the shooters, and under the shooters.
- the contactor safety combination described also has the advantage that if a contactor is lightly welded, there is the possibility that the second protection during testing switching on removes the welding. Auxiliary switches, blocks and other accessories can still be used for the contactors.
