Abstract

Furniture for kitchen or bathroom fittings is provided. The furniture comprises nesting elements (1, 2, 3) that fit inside one another so that they have a single transport volume. The upper element (3) fits inside the central element (2) which in turn fits inside the lower element (1) forming the transport container, said elements (1, 2, 3) being arranged in such a way that they define a volume for receiving fittings such as a sink, a washbasin, a cooker, a hot plate, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, an oven, a light fitting, etc. Said furniture is useful in fitted kitchens or bathrooms.

The present invention relates to a piece of furniture for kitchen or bathroom equipment.

20 Kitchen or bathroom furniture is generally delivered in a disassembled state and must be assembled on site. Therefore, the assembly of said elements is tedious and generates due to the passage of time high costs. In addition, once the kitchen or

25 bathrooms installed, it is generally no longer possible to move them because they are fixed to the wall. Finally, such installations, in particular when they relate to kitchen furniture, require the use of specialized trades, such as a tiler, to ι () protect the surfaces subject to protection.

The object of the present invention is therefore to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks by proposing a piece of furniture for kitchen or bathroom equipment that can be adapted as regards the arrangement and choice of household appliances or sanitary equipment, this piece of furniture can be transported and installed only by one person in an extremely short time. Another object of the present invention is to provide a fully autonomous piece of furniture capable of being moved at the option of the user without any particular precaution and possibly installed in the case of a piece of furniture for kitchen equipment between three walls without thermal contraindications due to household electric cooking appliances.

To this end, the subject of the invention is a piece of furniture for kitchen or bathroom equipment, of the type consisting of at least three volumetric elements respectively lower, central and upper which, in the assembled state, are superimposed, characterized in that the nesting elements are nestable one inside the other to form a single transport volume, the lower element which constitutes a transport container receiving the interlocking central element which itself receives the interlocking element upper, said elements being organized so as to be able to be arranged to form a volume capable of accommodating equipment of the sink, basin, stove, hob, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, lighting or similar type.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the elements of the pull-out type are superimposable to form in the assembled state a set of general pyramidal appearance.

The piece of furniture for kitchen or bathroom equipment, ob] and of the invention, consists of at least three volumetric elements 1, 2, 3 of the pull-out type and for example of generally parallelepipedal shape. These three elements 1, 2, 3, respectively called lower element or transport container, central element and upper or upper element, can be nested one inside the other to form a single transport volume, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 6. In this case, one of the elements, generally the lower element 1, constitutes a transport container for the other elements, namely elements 2 and 3. Thus, element 3 which constitutes the upper element, when the furniture is assembled and elements 1, 2 and 3 are superimposed, is housed in position transport in element 2 said central itself housed in element 1 lower.

Due to the purpose of the furniture (kitchen or bathroom), elements 1, 2 and 3 are dimensioned so that the height of the lower element 1 is greater than that of the central element 2 superimposed on the 'lower element 1, this height itself being greater than that of the high element 3 superimposed on the central element 2. The widths of the elements 1, 2 and 3 are substantially identical. On the other hand, the depth of element 1 is greater than that of elements 2 and 3 which, for their part, have very similar depths.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the width of the element 3 is chosen to be less than the height of the element 2 so that the element 3 can be introduced horizontally or vertically into the element 2 during the transport. This makes it possible in this case to obtain a shape other than a pyramidal shape in the assembled state of said elements. In all cases, the dimensions of the elements are chosen so that said elements are organized so that they can be arranged to form, in the assembled state or in the transport configuration of said elements, a volume capable of accommodating equipment of the sink type. , sink, stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, lighting or similar. This receiving volume of the equipment exists in the assembled state of elements 1, 2, 3, that is to say in the superimposed state of the elements or in the disassembled state, that is to say in position transport of said elements. This characteristic is particularly important to be able on the one hand, to have a piece of furniture immediately operational once assembled, on the other hand, to limit handling. Obviously, it may happen in certain cases that certain equipment cannot be housed in the container. They will then be supplied in the form of packages separate. This can in particular be the case of a kitchen unit equipped with a dishwasher.

To facilitate the movement of the cabinet in the transport configuration, as shown in FIG. 2, the container 1 of the cabinet is equipped with rollers 4 or similar displacement elements, for example skids allowing the displacement of said container on the ground . Each caster can be mounted on a plate fitted with an adjustable foot 0 formed for example by a jack ensuring by screwing a leveling of the cabinet so as to allow the container to pass from a position bearing on the casters in position transport to a position resting on the feet in the assembled state. 5

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the loading of the container 1 by the other elements 2, 3 can be carried out frontally, access to this volume being effected by at least one opening panel. This front loading can be a so-called front loading 0 or said rear loading front depending on whether the front side or the rear side of said piece of furniture is used. Indeed, elements 2 and 3 can be introduced via the front face or the rear face of the lower element 1. - "

In the example shown in Figure 1, the container 1 has two opening panels 5A, 5B. The loading is carried out by the front face.

In the example represented in FIG. 6, the loading is carried out by the rear face of the element 1. In this case, the lower element 1 is a parallelepiped whose face of the top forming a work surface protrudes beyond the rear edges of the lateral faces of said element and the rear face of which is formed by at least one (three in FIG. 7) closure element 12, said at least one closure element 12 being conformable so as to be applied in a removable manner on the rear edges of the side faces of said element and flush with the rear edge of the top face of said lower element 1, as indicated by the double arrow in FIG. 7. In the case where there are several closing elements 12, these will be joined together . The advantage of such a design of the rear face of the lower element 1 is to be able to open this rear face easily when pipes or electrical connections or plinths have to be introduced into this rear face. This also avoids having to move the furniture away from the wall, even when the obstacles protrude from the wall. The fitter therefore no longer has to worry about these obstacles for mounting. It will suffice to remove one or more closing elements 12. Similarly, the empty space provided between the closing element 12 and the rear face limited by the rear edges of the lateral faces of the element 1 can facilitate the furniture installation.

When elements 1, 2, 3, arranged in accordance with Figure 2, are brought to the site where they are to be installed, elements 2, 3 and equipment such as sink, sink, stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven , lighting or the like are extracted from the container 1. Subsequently, these elements 1, 2, 3 are assembled together to form a volume capable of accommodating equipment of the stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven or similar type which will be described below.

In the assembled state, as shown in Figure 3, the elements 1, 2, 3 can form a set of general pyramidal shape. These various elements constituting the final volume are joined together by fixing members 6 to the exclusion of any furniture / wall fixing means. These fixing members are for example constituted by pins and screws which allow the assembly of the various elements together. Because the elements are, during their transport, stored in the assembled state, the transition from the transport position to the assembled position of the elements, corresponding to the passage from FIG. 2 to FIG. 3, is extremely rapid. The only attachment of the members 6 allows such assembly of the assembly. In addition, since it is not necessary to fix the piece of furniture to the wall, the characteristic of easy movement of the whole piece of furniture can be maintained. Finally, the equipment of the sink, basin, o stove, hob, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, lighting or similar type which had also been stored in the lower element 1 can be immediately installed. The unit is therefore very quickly operational. 5

The household appliances which equip such a piece of furniture can have a large number of shapes and can be arranged differently. However, an example of an arrangement corresponding to a kitchen cabinet is () represented in FIG. 4. In this case, the container 1 of the cabinet constitutes a specialized element for the reception of a sink 7, a tap and a cooking appliance 8, such as a cooking plate. Inside this element are generally arranged a refrigerator and / or a freezer and / or an oven which occupy at least half of this element, the remaining volume being able to be occupied by a dishwasher with top loading. . The element 2, superimposed on the container 1, is meanwhile open on the front. At least the bottom 9 of said element 2 can be covered with a protective coating. As a result, any tiled surface becomes unnecessary. Obviously, such an element can also be fitted with additional shelves to allow for example the reception of a built-in oven. The high element 3 of said piece of furniture is, in turn, specially arranged to receive an extraction system 11 and / or a built-in oven 10, such as a microwave oven or a mini-oven. All household appliances, as shown, can be reversed, i.e. can be positioned to the right or left in the drawing shown in Figure 4. Similarly, it is left to the user an unlimited choice of household appliances.

In an analogous manner, an example of an arrangement of bathroom furniture is shown in FIG. 5. In this case, the container 1 of the furniture constitutes a specialized element for the reception of a basin and a tap. It will be noted that the lower element can be prepared for the reception of the equipment, in particular by drilling the reception faces of said container as shown in FIG. 5. The central element 2 superimposed on the lower element 1 is quant to him open in front. At least the bottom of this element 2 can be covered with a mirror. Finally, the top or top element 3 of the cabinet is itself equipped with at least one opening. In the example shown in Figure 5, the element 3 is equipped with two doors forming an opening, these doors possibly being covered with a mirror. The top face of this high element 3 projects in front of said element 3 so as to delimit a surface for receiving lighting means. Analogously to what has been described for the kitchen furniture, this furniture can be delivered with all its equipment arranged inside the container 1 during transport.

Claims

1. Furniture for kitchen or bathroom equipment, of the type consisting of at least three volumetric elements
