And a hair conditioning composition.
- Some hair conditioning compositions left the ingredients in the hair, and some were rinsed after application.
- compositions had insufficient conditioning effects, especially when used on hair that had become dry due to damage.
- an object of the present invention is to provide a hair treatment composition which imparts gloss and volume to hair, improves combability, and imparts flexibility.
- an aqueous hair treatment composition containing a fixed amount of lactic acid, citric acid, and pyrrolidone carboxylic acid has a sufficient hair conditioning effect. That is, the present invention has been completed.
- the present invention provides the following components (a), (b) and (c)
- the present invention provides a water or water-based hair treatment composition containing the following.
- the hair treatment composition of the present invention is used for the final treatment of hair after shampooing, perming, hair dyeing and the like.
- the above-mentioned weight% refers to the weight% in the whole composition.
- the lactic acid as the component (a) is contained in an amount of not less than 0.01% by weight in the whole composition. It is preferable to include them.
- citric acid of the component (b) should be contained in an amount of not less than 0.01% by weight in the total composition. Is preferred.

- the upper limit of the content of the organic acid is not particularly limited, but in the composition of the present invention, it is determined mainly by the desired pH of the composition. Preferred pH values are between 2 and 7, especially between 4 and 5.5. In general, the upper limit of the content of the organic acid is preferably about 5% by weight, particularly about 2.5% by weight in the total composition. On the other hand, the lower limit of the content of the organic acid is preferably about 0.05% by weight, particularly preferably about 0.25% by weight in the whole composition. These organic acids may be obtained from plants, juices or extracts thereof.
- Another preferable optional component is glycerin, which is added in an amount of 0.5% by weight or more, particularly preferably 1 to 10% by weight, in the composition of the present invention.
- hair treatment is used here for shampoo, permanent treatment or after hair dyeing This definition is described in K. Schrader, "Grundlagen und printeduren der Kosmetika", 2nd Ed. (1989), Huthing Buchverlag Heidelberg, pp. 722-724.
