Abstract

Ce filtre à suie comprend au moins un canal dans lequel s'écoule un gaz chargé de suie, délimité par une céramique dont la surface extérieure porte des électrodes à haute tension. Afin de brûler les particules de suie à de basses températures et en sollicitant aussi peu que possible une source d'alimentation des électrodes en tension, la céramique est à base de silicate d'aluminium alcalino-terreux, de silicate d'aluminium ou de silicate de magnésium et d'aluminium. Afin de réduire le travail d'extraction des électrons, la céramique est dopée avec une concentration de 0,05 à 1 % en poids d'au moins un composé métallique du groupe constitué de Ba, Fe, Sr, Nb, Mo, Ti, Co et de préférence V.
