Description

Radlenkervorrichtung für Rillenschienen Wheel control device for grooved rails
The invention relates to a wheel handlebar device with a wheel handlebar fixed in the area of switches or crossings with respect to the centerpiece by means of detachable fastening devices on a grooved rail embedded in the floor.
In the field of Vignol rails it is known (EP 0402 351 A2) to fasten a wheel control arm in the area of switches or crossings in a free position by means of supports and fastening screws on the side of the rail opposite the centerpiece on the threshold. The supports and fastening screws remain freely accessible. This makes it possible to use compensating plates to compensate for the enlargement of the wheel handlebar line if the wheel control arm is worn, or to replace a worn wheel control arm quickly and easily.
In the case of grooved rails, it is customary to weld the wheel control arm onto the lip of the grooved rail that is shortened in the area of the wheel control arm. If a wheel control arm welded on in this way wears out, the groove of the wheel control arm widened by wear can only be made narrower by armor plating welded on. If the wheel control arm is to be replaced, the worn wheel control arm must first be disconnected. For the complex welding work, the entire grooved rail must be exposed in the area of the wheel control arm.
In the case of a releasably attached wheel control arm of the type mentioned at the outset, which is known, for example, from German utility model DE 93 02 349 U1, readjustment or replacement is extremely cumbersome insofar as Grooved rail, including the wheel control arm, is let deep into the ground and poured with concrete or asphalt so that the fastening devices are not freely accessible. Here, too, the road surface must first be torn open and the ground around the wheel handlebar removed in order to make the fastening devices accessible. The fastening devices are mostly heavily soiled and rusted by weather and environmental influences, so that they can no longer be detached. Therefore, the fasteners often have to be disconnected and replaced with new ones. After adjusting the wheel handlebar groove or after installing the new wheel handlebar, the ground must be filled up again and the road surface must be re-laid.
The present invention is therefore based on the object of further developing the wheel handlebar device of the type mentioned at the outset such that the fastening devices are easily accessible and are protected from the ingress of concrete or asphalt as well as weather and environmental influences, and that worn wheel handlebars are easy and uncomplicated to readjust and are interchangeable.
To achieve this object, the invention proposes, starting from the wheel control device of the type mentioned at the outset, that a wheel control box recessed into the floor runs along the wheel control arm, in which the fastening devices are arranged so as to be accessible from above.
The wheel control device according to the invention has the advantage that the fastening devices are accommodated in a manner protected from weather and environmental influences. Clogging of the fastening devices with concrete or asphalt and rusting or corroding are largely prevented. To readjust or replace the wheel control arm, the fastening devices can be loosened easily and without great effort from above.
Additional advantages result if the wheel control arm box is connected to the grooved rail and the wheel control arm is supported on the wheel control arm box. This embodiment increases the stability of the wheel control device. When driving on switches or crossings, the wheels release a force practiced, which drives the wheel handlebar and the grooved rail apart. The connection between the wheel control arm and grooved rail via the wheel control arm box allows the wheel control arm to be supported on the grooved rail and to absorb very high forces.
Particular advantages result if the wheel control box and the grooved rail are arranged on a common, continuous base plate. This measure simplifies the laying of the crossings and switches. The wheel handlebar box and the grooved rail are mounted on the common base plate before the rails are laid. In addition, the bottom plate forms the underside of the wheel handlebar box and delimits the wheel handlebar box from the ground.
A preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the wheel handlebar, the base plate and the fastening devices are integral components of the wheel handlebar box. As a result, the material requirement for supporting the wheel control arm on the one hand and protecting the fastening devices on the other hand is reduced to a minimum.
A further advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the wheel steering box has a removable cover, which preferably consists of a tear plate. With the removable cover, the fastening devices of the wheel control device are protected from weather and environmental influences on the one hand, but are also particularly easily accessible even after the cover has been removed. Worn wheel links can easily be readjusted or replaced without having to remove the road surface and the surface around the grooved rails. The teardrop cover has the advantage of preventing it from slipping, especially in damp weather.
Eine bevorzugte Ausführungsform der Erfindung sieht vor, daß zwischen demA preferred embodiment of the invention provides that between the
Radlenker und Befestigungseinrichtungen Ausgleichsbleche anbringbar sind.Wheel link and fastening devices are compensating plates.
These compensating plates enable a quick and uncomplicated readjustment of worn wheel handlebars. It is also a very robust type and How to recreate worn wheel handlebars, as is necessary in the railway industry.
Another embodiment of the invention provides that the wheel handlebar box has a drainage connection in the floor. This prevents moisture penetrating from above from accumulating in the wheel handlebar box and can lead to increased rusting or corroding of the fastening elements of the wheel handlebars.
Another advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the ends of the radius box are closed with head plates. This has the advantage that the fastening devices of the wheel control arms are surrounded by a completely closed wheel control arm box, which protects them from weather and environmental influences.

In the drawing, the grooved rail is designated by the reference number 1. The grooved rail 1 is fastened by clamping plates 2 and screws 3 to a continuous base plate 5 provided with welded-on rib plates 4. increases. A wheel control arm 6 is arranged parallel to the grooved rail 1 and is connected to the base plate 5 via a plurality of fastening devices 7. Each fastening device 7 has two transverse webs 8 which are arranged at a distance from one another, run transversely to the longitudinal direction of the rail and are welded to the base plate 5, and which are each connected on the side facing the grooved rail 1 by welded-on longitudinal webs 9. The wheel link 6 is fastened to these longitudinal webs 9 by means of screws 10. An end plate 11 is arranged between the wheel link 6 and the longitudinal webs 9. On the side facing away from the grooved rail 1, a vertically arranged rear wall 12 running in the longitudinal direction of the rail is welded to the transverse webs 8 and the base plate 5. In this way, the grooved rail 1, the base plate 5, the wheel link 6, the crossbars 8, the end plate 11 and the rear wall 12 form an upwardly open wheel link box 13, in which the fastening devices 7 for the wheel link 6 are freely accessible from above are. To protect against weather and environmental influences, the upper opening of the wheel control box 13 is covered at the top by a cover 14, which is expediently designed as a teardrop plate. This cover 14 is screwed by means of screws 15 to mounting brackets 16, which in turn are welded to the rear wall 12 and are arranged at regular intervals in the interior of the wheel handlebar box 13. The wheel link box 13 is closed off at the end by head plates 17.
Fig. 2 - 5). In Fig. 2, the grooved rail 1 is cut outside the wheel control device. The grooved rail 1 has a lateral lip 1-a, which together with the rail head 1-b forms the track groove 1-c of the grooved rail 1. As can be seen from a comparison with the following FIGS. 3-5, the lip 1-a in front of the wheel control device still has the full original length. In contrast, the lip 1-a is shortened in the length region of the wheel control device in order to make room for the wheel control device 6 (cf. FIGS. 2-5). In addition, FIG. 2 shows the head plate 17 which closes the radius box 13 at the end and covers the entire space between the grooved rail 1 and the rear wall 12. In Fig. 3 it can be seen how by inserting one or more compensating plates 18 of any thickness the wheel links 6 can be adjusted after wear in the sense of a narrowing of the track groove.
In order to readjust a worn wheel control arm 6, the screws 15 of the cover 14 are first loosened and the cover 14 removed. Then the screws 10 of the fastening devices 7 are loosened to such an extent that the compensating plates 18 can be inserted between the wheel link 6 and the end plate 11. Then the screws 10 are tightened again and the cover 14 is attached to the wheel control box 13 again.
The sectional view according to FIG. 4 shows in all details the fastening of the cover 14 and, moreover, a drainage connection 19 located in the base plate 5, via which water, which may be accumulating in the wheel control box 13, can flow off.
