Abstract

Dispositif de simulation d'une carte à piste magnétique, ou 'carte d'essai', comportant un substrat plan dont les dimensions sont proches de celles d'une carte à piste magnétique, et une ou plusieurs petites bobines électriques portées par la carte d'essai de sorte que la bobine viendra se placer à proximité de la tête de lecture de l'unité de lecture de cartes à piste magnétique lors de l'introduction de la carte d'essai dans l'unité de lecture. On excite les bobines afin de simuler le champ magnétique changeant créé au niveau de la tête de lecture par le défilement d'une carte à piste magnétique devant la tête de lecture. Ce système est utilisable par les créateurs de logiciels dans l'élaboration de logiciels destinés aux appareils fonctionnant à l'aide de cartes à piste magnétique.
