Abstract
The car rubbish-bin is a container for holding rubbish produced in the car. At the moment no similar product exists in any part of the world. Rubbish bins for the house and for other environments exist but not for the car interior. The car rubbish-bin can be made in various shapes and materials and can be positioned in different parts of the car according to amount of space available in the cabin. If produced by the car manufacturer, the same item can be incorporated into the dashboard or into any other easily accessible part of the car.
Description
Description
Car Rubbish-Bin Technical Field This invention is to be used in the cabin of the vehicle.
Background Art Until today, rubbish bins have been used in the house or out of doors but one adapted to the car interior has not been invented, and in no country in the world does such an item exist. Rubbish bins existing at the present time cannot be used in the car, being of the wrong dimensions and being impossible to attach to the interior of the car itself. This deficiency has constricted drivers to accumulating the rubbish produced in the car in loose bags or even, in many cases, to throw the rubbish out of the car window, dirtying their environment. This new item satisfies the need to be able to accumulate refuse produced in the car in a purpose-designed bag.
Disclosure of Invention
The car rubbish-bin is composed of a container which contains a changeable cellophane or pvc bag and has an openable flap on the top. The function of the item is to contain rubbish produced in the vehicle. With regard to the best positioning of the item inside the car, several problems had to be overcome due to the lack of space available, and the solution found resolves all the problems of attachment and of bulk. The car rubbish-bin, as demonstrated in fig. 1 of table 1 , is actually attached to the rear of the front passenger-seat or of both front seats, by means of a cord or an adjustable strap, attached to the two upper extremities of the item, allowing it to hang from the head-rest. Two elastic straps are attached to the lower extremities of the object ending in two rigid little hooks which are attached below the seat (to a spring or something similar), keeping the
object in this way firmly attached to the rear of the seat even should the seat be inclined backwards. By altering the dimensions of the item, it ca be inserted between the front or rear seats like a hollow arm-rest containing the removeable bag.
Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
This car rubbish bin can be made of sythnetic and waterproof material (such as that of sports bags) or a plastic material which conform to safety regulations. As illustrated in table 2, which shows the car rubbis bin in section, the superior part is a removable lid section 2 in plastic material which supports the openable flap 3 and has also the function of blocking the cellophane bag 4 inside. To better fasten the bag in position, the cellophane bag could have a cord 5 incorporated into its edge 6 which fits into the appropriate groove 7 in such a way that the removable lid section 2 clips down onto the bin rim, fastening the bag 4; the cord can also serve to close the bag for removal and disposal. In table 3 it is possible to see a section of the rubbish bin for cars composed of the external containor 9, the changeable bag 10, the strap 11 which attaches the item to the head-rest, the elastic strap 12 which will affix the whole between the hooks 13, under the same seat. Table 4 shows the rubbish bin for cars 14 positioned in its place on the rear of the front passenger seat. The strap or cord 15 is shown which attaches the item to the head- parallel to the back of the seat; the closing flap 17. The above materials can be assembled through stitching and glueing.
Industrial Applicability
The car rubbish-bin can be applied to the car industry and spare parts and accessories industry.
