Abstract
Un dispositif (240) de détection d'exposition aux ultraviolets détermine le flux de rayonnement ultraviolet ou l'énergie ultraviolette cumulée. Un détecteur (242) convertit le rayonnement ultraviolet en tension et un convertisseur tension-fréquence (243) founit une fréquence correspondante. Si ce dispositif doit mesurer le flux de rayonnement, un sous-système de conversion convertit la fréquence en un flux de rayonnement ultraviolet associé exprimé en watts. Si ce capteur doit mesurer l'énergie ultraviolette cumulée pendant une certaine période, un compteur (244) compte à la fréquence du convertisseur tension-fréquence en intégrant ainsi l'énergie ultraviolette reçue par le détecteur. Un bouton de remise à zéro permet à l'utilisateur de remettre ce dispositif à zéro et d'effacer l'affichage du compteur avant une nouvelle exposition quotidienne au soleil. Un avertisseur lumineux, un afficheur (245) ou un ronfleur indique à l'utilisatrice que sa peau risque une brûlure solaire. Plusieurs fibres et/ou hémisphères de Lambert donnent une représentation sensiblement uniforme du rayonnement solaire. On peut recourir à une cellule photovoltaïque (250) pour alimenter ce dispositif, surtout lorsqu'il est intégré à une montre.
