Description

Wagenkette für eine SortieranlageCar chain for a sorting system
Dieser Lineramotor ist allerdings im Betrieb recht lärmig.EP-A-588 378 describes a sorting system with an endless carriage chain consisting of carriages coupled together. Each carriage has castors at one end and is articulated to the next carriage at the opposite end. On the underside, the carriages have electrically conductive plates which, together with stationary coils, form a linear motor for driving the carriage chain. However, this liner engine is quite noisy in operation.
Another sorting system is described in EP-A-540 464, in which the carriages have four rollers and lateral guide rollers and are connected to one another via articulated rods. A gear rack is attached under each carriage to drive it, which engages in a rotating driven chain at at least one point in the carriage chain. This system can be built in such a way that it generates less noise than the first system. However, the cars are complex to manufacture.
The present invention has for its object to provide a car chain for a sorting system that is in operation runs smoothly and is inexpensive to manufacture. This object is achieved by the combination of features according to claim 1.
Darin zeigt:An exemplary embodiment of the invention is explained below with reference to the drawings. It shows:
Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht von zwei Wagen einer Wagen¬ kette,1 shows a side view of two carriages of a carriage chain,
Fig. 2 eine Draufsicht auf die Wagenkette bei entfern¬ tem Aufbau, und2 shows a top view of the carriage chain with the structure removed, and
Fig. 3 einen vergrösserten Schnitt durch eine Kupp¬ lung.3 shows an enlarged section through a coupling.
The carriage chain consists of an endless row of carriages 1 coupled to one another, which are guided on two tubes 2 (not shown in FIG. 1) as guide rails. Each carriage 1 has a carriage body 3, which is preferably designed as a rectangular hollow profile with undercut longitudinal grooves 4 for fastening the undercarriage 5, the body 6, the actuating device 7, and on the underside of a rack 8. The racks 8 have 1 extensions 9 in the longitudinal direction of the carriage. The extensions 9 of adjacent carriages are coupled directly to one another by means of link rods 10 with spherical layers.
Each carriage has the carriage 5 at one end. At the two ends of a crossbar 15 fastened to the carriage body 3, forks 16 are fastened to be pivotable to a limited extent about vertical axes 17. One roller 18 is rotatably supported in each of the forks 16. Through this design, the rollers 18 act as castors that roll on the tubes 2 in curves without lateral sliding. As a result, the abrasion of the rollers 18 is kept low and one good smoothness achieved. On the crossbar 15, two side guide rollers 19 are also rotatably mounted about vertical axes 20, which roll on the inside of the tubes 2.
At the opposite end, a carrier 24 with a spherical bearing 25 is attached to the carriage body 3. The inner part of the bearing 25 is attached to the free end of a cylindrical rod 26 which is mounted in the bearing bushes 27 so as to be longitudinally displaceable and rotatable. The bearing bushes 27 are inserted in the front end of the carriage body 3 of the preceding carriage, which carries the drive 5. The longitudinal displaceability and rotatability of the rods 26 enables the length compensation in the transition to gradients and in bends as well as driving on helical gradients. Due to the direct coupling of the racks 8 with the articulated racks 10, the car body 3 does not need to transmit tensile and compressive forces. It can therefore be built very easily. In addition, the training described enables that when the wagon division changes, e.g. if shorter or longer shells 30 of the superstructures 6 are mounted, within certain limits, determined by the length of the rods 26 protruding on both sides over the bearing bushes 27, only the lengths of the articulated rods 10 need to be changed. This makes the system very flexible.
The structure 6 with the bearing shell 30 and the actuating device 7 are not the subject of this application and are therefore not described in detail. You can e.g. be designed according to EP-A-540 464.
